- Room for 1 or 2 persons. Functional and comfortable, perfect for working or relaxing, the ibis room has everything you need: bed with duvets, a big desk, Internet, TV with all the best channels and a nice bathroom with shower or tub.

Blah Hotel with a Great Staff
We spent the night here because we had an early flight out of Nice the following morning, and the hotel is right near the airport. In fact it's a quick 1 euro bus ride to Terminal 1. The hotel is fairly straight forward. They do have some nice amenities like free WiFi, and a decent bar in the lobby (there's a restaurant too, but we didn't eat). The rooms are adequate, but nothing special - a bit institutional as far as lighting goes. The thing that made this hotel stand out was the very personable staff (all of which spoke at least passable English). They were extremely helpful, and dealt with our constant barrage of questions with a smile.

Ibis Nice Promenade des Anglais
Staff is always helpful. Rooms are small but they are the same at all Ibis'. Breakfast was well presented and ample. You get what you pay for. We have stayed there many time the night before leaving for the U.S. and have never had anything but the best experience.

Short walk from hotel
Busses run from behind the hotel to downtown Nice. 1 Euro, paid on the bus. From the train station you can catch busses to Monte Carlo, Menton, Eze, St. Paul, each for one Euro for 75 minutes. A real bargin rather than taking a car and trying to park.
