This hotel is fantastic. It is located within the same building as the LeMeridien but a lot less cost. Whilst not making a direct comparison between a 3 star and 5 star, the Mercure held its own well and truly. Our ocean view room was fantastic and the staff were all just wonderful. The location is right on the Promenade Des Anglais - you can't ask for better. Would heartily recommend it!

Great hotel
Hotel was clean, modern and in a great location. Steps to the beach, close to restaurants and shopping. The hotel is a good value. I will stay here the next time I'm in Nice.

Mercure Nice Promenade des Anglais
The ocean view room was great. Very spacious. It was nice to spend time on the balcony looking at the ocean. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Easy, breezy, beachy
Perfect spot to walk all of central Nice - definitely get an ocean view room. This is small and highly functional hotel and a good value.

Excellent location, very friendly
Excellent location, very friendly service. Room gave to the Promenade des Anglais and the noise can be disturbing. But the view to the Mediterranean is fantastic

GREAT LOCATION TRUMPS ALL
This was the second hotel I stayed in Nice. The location is FANTASTIC. It's in the center of everything. The desk staff was very friendly and welcoming (spoke English well). The room was clean and updated, had a safe included, stocked bar. The hallways were a bit dark and the garden doesn't offer much of a view but I wasn't there for the view or the hallways. Rooms are a little dated, but they tried to modernize them with new carpet, fixtures, bathroom and artwork. Bathroom had bidet, deep soaker tub. I would definitely return when the dollar gains more strength:). Being able to wake up and step out onto the Promenade des Anglais is priceless.

The location of this hotel is
The location of this hotel is very good: near the old and new centre, the busstation (from which you can go e.g. to Monaco for only one euro) and of course opposite the Promenade des Anglais. I had a room with sea view which was renovated. Te room was very comfortable and had coffee-and-tea making facilities. Next time I will definitely return!
