Hotel Gounod built in 1920, this nice Hotel draws its charm in baroque architecture style; its faade is a real jewel associating vaults and former moldings. The hotel offers bar, currency exchange, doctor on call, dry cleaning, Internet access- high speed, Internet access- wireless, laundry service, parking facilities- at cost 18 Euros, room service and safe deposit box. Splendid Hotel & Spa is part of the same company as Gounod Hotel and is located a few meters away from the 3-star hotel. The exterior roof top pool from the hotel Splendid open from april to october may be used by the guests of the hotel Gounod.

Hotel Gounod for Le Tour 2009

Hotel Gounod was a great location for the price. Located between the train station and the beach, it's a 10 minute walk to either location. We stayed there for two nights, and it was an easy train ride to Monaco to see Le Tour de France. We didn't make use of the pool located next door. The interior decor needs updating, otherwise I would have given this hotel four stars.
