Affordable luxury on the Cote d'Azur
We stayed at the Elysee Palace for six nights in September 2012. The positives are the bed comfort (excellent quality bed linen and a really great night's sleep); the location (ideal for the beach and a short walk to the shops and attractions - the Old Town is a longer walk or bus ride away); the value (not cheap, but it's the South of France!); and the friendliness of the staff (but there were issues that I'll come to later). The negatives were that for the entire period of our stay there was only one lift working, and that would cut-out if more than six people got in. We were on the fourth floor and walked up the stairs. And whilst the staff were pleasant and friendly, I reported an issue to do with our TV to three members of staff without it ever being attended to. But overall, a really nice hotel.

Short walk from hotel
Turn right out of the hotel and immediately right again into the Rue de France; about two minutes walk, on the opposite side of the road, is the wonderful Boulangerie de France. Fabulous bread, croissants, pain au raisin, etc. Much cheaper than the Eur 21 for breakfast at the hotel.

Lovely 4 night break
Were upgraded on arrival to a very pleasant room with a partial sea view, beds were SO comfortable and the air conditioning was very effective and a delight to return to after long hot days. There was one power point in the room that didn't work, unfortunate when trying to use a hair styler and the light was very difficult when trying to apply make up, this of course is from the female perspective!! Only one lift worked for the duration of our stay which was a bit frustrating a times and the restaurant didn't seem to be open at the beginning of the week [Sunday and Monday] Would return again as it is in such a lovely spot and the rooms were very quiet at night,my husband and I got some real quality sleep.Bus stop just around the corner makes access to anywhere very easy and of course it is a bargain to travel anywhere at 1 euro.

Nice hotel, with great views from the roof top. Clean and excellent location. Just be aware that the sneaky French in Nice charge an extra tax of 1.20 euro per person per night.

Nice modern hotel with good swimming pool on roof which is free soft drinks and water in room also free- a nice touch would recommend this hotel good location however hotel parking expensive at 19 euros a night

Excellent location but extremely
Excellent location but extremely over - priced. We were given a twin room on the 1st floor next to the bar and therefore were kept awake at night due to the music. Very expensive drinks at the bar. Dissapointing for a Four Points.

Le prix est un peux elevée si
Le prix est un peux elevée si on veux faire plusieurs jours de séjour. L'emplacement de l'hôtel est situer comme place des anglais hors il est dans une petite rue qui se croise avec cette rue. Un peux dificile de le trouver si en roule tous le temps sur la place des anglais!!

Le confort de la literie est trés
Le confort de la literie est trés correct, par contre celà cache une rénovation trop légère, surtout dans la salle de bain. Quatre étoiles et pas moyen de régler l'eau du bain, trop chaud ! Nous ne nous sommes lavés que succintement. Dommage mais je ne suis pas sûr d'y retourner.
