This is a fully refurbished property in excellent location. ( 1209/ss ) This is a traditional five storey building painted in a cream colour. The hotel is ideally located in the centre of Nice opposite the station and just a few steps from the tramway.

OVERPRICED

Very good location if you need to be close to the train station. Otherwise, less than basic facilities. TV did not work, tried several remote controls to no avail, were not moved to another room. Room extremely small. Hotel rate was Euros 89 on June 29, 2011.

Hôtel de Berne : 2 étoiles moderne et agréable

Assez bon emplacement en centre ville sur la grande avenue Thiers, à l'angle de l'avenue Jean Médecin et proche de la gare. Accueil sympathique et professionnel, avec photocopie de la pièce d'identité. Petit-déjeuner très copieux, buffet avec charcuterie, fromage, yaourt et fruit, proposé pour seulement 6 euros par personne. Chambre moderne et confortable avec grand lit en 140 + douche et WC. Climatisation, sèche cheveux fourni, chambre bien aménagée avec spots et décoration aux couleurs vives. TV écran plat avec toutes les chaînes TNT. Très bon rapport qualité prix : 51 euros la nuit avec petit-déjeuner inclus en mai 2012. Nota : le tarif 2012 - affiché dans la chambre pour une chambre "single" - est de 50 euros en basse saison et de 70 euros en haute saison en juillet-août, ce qui me paraît très honnête et peut servir de "référence" pour comparer les hôtels de cette catégorie à Nice.
