Centrally located, typical French hotel

The 2-star Crillon Hotel is well located within a few minutes' walk of the Promenade des Anglais, beaches, the old city, fine restaurants, and the Acropolis convention center. The recently refurbished, smoke-free hotel retains its traditional pink façade and Provencal style. The 4-story structure has 41 comfortably furnished rooms, Wi-Fi, elevator, meeting room, business center, and concierge. Rooms have extra sound insulation, individually controlled air conditioning, and private bathroom with shower and tub.

Cheap and dirty

We were in a bind and most hotels were booked. So we didn't have much choice. Although the price was really cheap considering the location, it was one of the grungiest hotels I have stayed in.

I just stayed at this hotel! The

I just stayed at this hotel! The location is good and very central and the staff is kind. But I still have to say that the room and the hotel in general is very, very bad! You can hear anything from you room like what's happening in next room, the elevator etc. etc.. The aircondition was bad as well. And then the housekeeping just took you up in the morning at 9am. EVERY morning - Not good! I wont stay there again and I cant recommend this hotel.

Good location and value

Hotel Crillon was a comfortable room for a good price. The location was ideal for getting to Old Nice and the Promenade while still being near the train station. While a bit run down in places, it served as a nice base for exploring the city, and air conditioning was a plus.

The Crillon Hotel is fine. I

The Crillon Hotel is fine. I was rather dreading staying there after reading some of the reviews! The room was small but perfectly manageable and the bathroom was tiny, but again Ok for a couple of nights. The staff are OK - they don't seem to encourage much interaction and in 2 days we saw at least 6 different people on the desk. Good location for Vieux Nice and the beach. Get off the airport bus (98) at Albert 1er and walk up this street to Rue Pastorelli.

Un hôtel très bien situé, dans

Un hôtel très bien situé, dans un ancien immeuble charmant qui a cependant besoin d'un bon coup de lifting car il fait vraiment vieillot. Propre, mais les équipements sont réduits au minimum. Une seule prise dans la chambre, pas évident quand on a un téléphone, un appareil photo, une caméra à recharger... Pas de télécommande pour la TV, dans certaines chambres, pas de chaînes principales. Une seule serviette par personne, mais elle est changée tous les jours. Un mini savon par chambre. La clim fait du bruit mais ne rafraîchit pas. Aux étages supérieurs, on ne capte pas bien Internet WiFi. Le petit déjeuner basique, pas très gourmand. Service aimable.

effectivement l hotel est bien

effectivement l hotel est bien place mais les chambres sont petites il y a d taches sur la moquette âs de room service et des equipements vieux (tv telephone...)la clim est h.s dans la pluspart des chambres la seule note positive est l accueil ..mais dommage ce n 'est helas pas suffisant pour le prix!!!
