Boscolo Exedra Nice

Nicest rooms and most impressive decor that I've ever seen. Staff was extremely nice as well, almost to a fault. This place is so impressive, I felt a bit underdressed walking in, but the staff always made me very comfortable. Wish I had tried the restaurant for dinner, but I can report that the breakfast is excellent. I will stay here anytime I go to Nice, and look for Exedra hotels in other cities I visit.

The Boscolo Excedra Hotel is a nice classy building. Interior is generally pure white with accent of colors. During our stay, in a pinkish style. This is reflected in the color of the flowers, colored water and other decorations. Huge iron horses in different poses dominate the hall. While the stairwell is nice white marble the corridor to the rooms are very dark and dimly light with brownish carpet and dark read marmor frames. Unfortunately, this was a negative impression in the otherwise quite impressive interior style. The room: Our room was spacious facing the back of the hotel with no view. Although, the view was not nice, it has the huge advantage of being quiet and not disturbed from street noise. Even the room has a good size the storage capabilities are very limited. If you stay for more than a weekend it is becoming very tight in the closet. We asked for a room with more space. Obviously, they did no upgrade the room, but offered more hangers which arrived immediately. Bathroom: As a frequent business traveller I have high expectation of good Bathroom facilities. There is a huge shower with a rain showerhead in the middle of the room with very nice gold glass mosaic tiles. The showering pleasure was increased by great selection of shower gels, shampoos and body lotions. We’d have expected two sinks, however, we were able to manage it with only one. The separate toilet bidet room is spacious as well. The bar: One night after a long walk and dinner in town, we did not feel like going to bed but having a drink at the hotel bar around 10PM. For a hotel in this class we where quite disappointed about the butcher hall atmosphere in bright white light. No music, very few couches not looking very inviting and a couple of tables which looked more like afternoon coffee tables to play cards or read a newspaper than an evening bar. No wonder, we where the only guests at that time. After asking for music it was immediately turned on. Next time, we will definitely look for a nice bar in old town. Breakfast: Well, we where just not willing the premium prices of 26€ for breakfast and had our petit dejeuner in the old town or at the beachfront for only 8-12€. This brings you closer to the French live than eating from a buffet in a modern breakfast hall. The location: The hotel has a great location, in walking distance to great shopping and to the old town, flower market unlimited bars and restaurants and the beach.

Centralt beläget, nära till gamla stan samt gångavstånd till bra restauranger. Den i hotellet är riltigt bra! Flera parkeringshus med gott om plats inom några hundra meter men hotellet tar även hand om bilen för 35€/dag Bra gym med allt man behöver, trevlig pool Riktigt trevlig och hjälpsam personal

Das Hotel ist wunderschön und an einer super Lage. Die Zimmer sind gross und elegant eingerichtet. Wir waren gesamthaft sehr zufrieden. Verbesserungspotential gibt es auf jeden Fall beim Personal. Bei der Kaffeebestellung beim Frühstück mangelte es an Details. Täglich müsste man nach der Milch und dem Kaffeelöffel fragen. Obwohl am Morgen nicht viele Gäste beim Frühstück waren, kam das Personal selten von alleine und fragte ob Kaffee oder Tee gewünscht wird. Es gab einige solche Details welche bei einem 5 Sterne Hotel zu erwarten sind.

Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Die Einrichtung ist wunderschön, hat genau unser Geschmack getroffen. Das Essen im Restaurant und das Frühstück auf dem Zimmer war sehr gut. Kleine Minuspunkte: Zu wenig Möglichkeiten um die Kleider aufzuhängen und Staub unter dem Bett. Ansonsten alles perfekt!! Vielen Dank
