A facade covered in ivy a Roman door large white shutters. Welcome to the chateau. Long before it became a well appointed hotel with a tennis court and swimming pool this fine building was a Benedictine monastery in the 12th century and then a lord s residence in the 16th century. General de Gaulle once stayed here. The hotel has kept many memories from its rich past including a noticeable taste for period furniture and outstanding sophistication. Located in the heart of the Cevennes National Park the hotel is resplendent with its six hectares of enclosed parkland.
