The room was large but with a worn carpet that had stains and discolorations on them. The corners of the rooms were dusty and had not been vacuumed in quite some time. The bed was too HARD. I couldn't sleep well. I did not eat the breakfast there as there are plenty of brasseries for half the price. The sink had a huge crack (I could stick my finger in it). Unfortunately the reception was not very helpful either and did not offer information that might be helpful to tourists. I had booked this hotel specifically for using their gym which was AGAIN under construction. I received no apology or any good customer service gesture. I stayed the following 2 nights in a hotel in Old Lyon for half the price and had none of the problems above. The high pricing and the stars are not justified for the quality of stay. I expect more of a Mercure.

Short drive from hotel
Get a Lyon City Card. It is fantastic and been only in use since April of 2011! You get free admittance to all 18 museums, free public transportation(which is extensive and highly modern), one free cruise, all audio tours, one walking tour (offered in French and English) and many more discounts and benefits. It is available on Place Bellecour Tourist office. Preferably avoid going during the hot, hot months as most hotels do not have air conditioning.

Excellent hotel with a few quibbles
The hotel room was not cheap, but it was lovely -- large, with a king bed and duvet, flat screen TV with lots of stations in most languages. It was very large, clean, with a nice bathroom with all amenities. The downsides were two: the website said checkin was noon so I left Avignon at 10:15. When I arrived close to 1pm, I was told it would be at least an hour. So I lunched in La Garage, the hotel's restaurant, which turned out to be wonderful. The other quibble is '10 minutes from Part-Dieu railroad station' walking. Maybe -- IF you know Lyon really well. The P-D station is huge, facing four sides of the district. I took a cab for 10 euros, and it took at least 15 minutes. Likewise the next day. Without a really reliable map, you're not going to find this hotel easily. That said, it was a lovely hotel.

Very long and convoluted walk for a supposed 10-min walk; but the restaurant made waiting at lunchtime worthwhile.

Basic Hotel
Its a basic hotel. Nothing to shout about. The room was sizeable but seemed to be old like the rest of the hotel. Amenities in the bathroom were inadequate & I didnt find it value for money.

街への利便性、鉄道までの距離など、特に不自由さはない。スタッフの応対も丁寧で問題なし。空港からのバスを降りて、徒歩１０分くらい。部屋も清潔感がある。テレビが故障で問題があったが、滞在中にメカニックの対応が行き届かなかった。
