Three-star beaux-arts beauty in Lyon’s city center
Located in the city center where the Rhone and Saone rivers meet, the three-star Mercure Lyon offers a peek at the 19th century Beaux Arts architecture of Lyon’s past. Superior room decor shows its age. Very very small lift. No parking, horrendous pricing of nearby public carpark - beware! Otherwise just ok.

Bland corporate experience
With uninspired decor and upkeep, this is the sort of place that seems to have had a former existence as a boutique hotel with character but has had its soul gutted by a faceless corporate entity with poor taste in bed spreads. The breakfast is way over priced and the place is full of American tourists. To top it off, there used to be a charming neon sign with beaux-arts that was removed when this place became just another franchise. Great location, though.

A besoin d'être rénové
Hotel assez mal entretenu. Saleté moquette des couloirs. Salle de bain exigüe et en mauvais état Poignée de fenêtre cassée L'ascenseur est à demi étage ce qui est très mal commode pour monter ses bagages dans les chambres Mérite un bon coup de remise en état Absolument
