A bright and airy, ultra-modern building designed by prize winning architect Renzo Piano, the Italian architect most famous for his work on the Pompidou Centre, the Hotel de la Cit? opened in November 2006 and is one of Lyon's newest hotels. It is set between the river Rhone and the vast T?te d'Or park, at the heart of the famous urban and architectural project known as Cit? Internationale. Hotel de la Cit? is ideally located for access to the Centre de Congres de Lyon, the city's premier conference venue, immediately adjacent to the hotel.
