Great Location
The desk clerk (Sebastien) was helpful and friendly when we checked in The elevator is small, but the view from our 5th floor room was great. Nice bathroom, tea and coffee making in room. The totel is located on a beautiful street and we could walk to both rivers, the old town, cathedral, Place Bellecour, museums and Roman remains. Nice welcome drink, good continental breakfast and lunch box each day (which I have to say we did not use, but still nice)!

Short walk from hotel
Go to the outdoor farmer's market by the river on Sunday == a feast for mind and body. (I think the market is on most days, but I am not sure)

No Air Conditioning!
The Pros: The location on this hotel is wonderful - it cannot be beat. Also, the staff was exceptionally kind and friendly and helpful. The Cons: No air conditioning!!! This is a real problem in the steamy months of June, July, and August! Also, the room's decore is just one step above a second-hand furniture store (really and truly bare bones).
