Secluded Beach Hotel
Best Western Juan Les Pins, Le Grand Pavois, is situated in Antibes on the waterfront. Getting to the beach is about a 2-3 minute walk from the hotel - There are LOADS of little shops, hotels, and restaurants all along the water (nothing aside from bars and restaurants are open on Sundays). Getting to anywhere else in the city, such as the train station, is a LOT of walking, especially if you don't know the area well, but the shops and sights along the way make the walking trip short. Generally, this stop is for people who love to walk (unless you have a rental car then you're set!). As for the hotel, it is CLEAN! The rooms are small and stuffy but the beds are very comfortable! The hotel staff is friendly and helpful to the hilt! They do have a seemingly "complementary breakfast." By seemingly I mean that you don't exactly find out how complementary your breakfast is until you check out and find that the hotel has charged you 45 Euros for it. This hotel does have a restaurant that is open only during the week. Don't bother asking the staff what restaurants are good in the area - apparently none of them seem to know. The hotel also advertises on their website that they have small brewing pots, as well as irons and ironing boards in every room. Well, that's just about as true as their claim for having a hotel shop, which much like the amenities I mentioned, is non-existent. Oh yes, do bring your own hair dryer if you choose this hotel - theirs are forces to be reckoned with. Cab rides to anywhere will cost about 15 Euros a person, whether it is through the hotel or anywhere else. Train rides (Le Gar) are about 8 Euros as is the bus (Le Gar Autobus). God help you if you need assistance in this area, as there are very few friendly people willing to assist Americans.

A l'arrivé au soir du 28.04.2012, merci l'accueil ! ça donne droit envie de repartir et en plus on me débite deux fois ma carte Visa !!!! Merci la paperrasse et le super week-end entre amoureux !!! C'était la première et dernière fois !
