Clean place, great location

Would recommend Sat, Aug 22, 2015
Our rooms were very spacious (double bed, 2 twin beds and a sofa bed). The place was very well kept and clean. About 300m from a supermarket and 3-5 minute walk into Eze which was such a lovely little place. Room wasn't air conditioned but still seems cool inside during August temperatures. Superb view. Not walkable to the beach... about a 20 minute drive. The only part negative was the fact the pool was not heated but this is no reason not to stay. The outside area by the pool could do with a bit of a tidy up (table tennis table was all broken, broken bats and some of the sun loungers were cracked. Would definitely stay again.

More than we had imagined

Would recommend Thu, Jul 10, 2014
Free parking was only the beginning of our pleasant surprises. The front desk staff made us feel welcome and the room was more than we expected. Though we needed only one bedroom, we had a second to use as a dressing room. Then there was the second toilet; doesn’t sound like much until you’ve had to share 1 for several weeks. The large balcony, with a view of the mountain top medieval city of Eze and the Mediterranean, was our favorite place to enjoy a cup of coffee. And a real “drip” coffee maker ( think Mr. Coffee) made it possible to brew the first cup of coffee we really enjoyed in weeks. Yes, the furniture is dated and maybe a little worn, but it was home base for one of the most interesting and enjoyable areas of our entire trip.

Dining

Check out a place simply called; The Deli. Not really a long walk but all uphill, this deli is worth the trip. Located at the base of the old citadel, the owner was right there for friendly conversation and excellent sandwiches. 5 rue du Chateau, 06360 Eze, France

EZA vista hotel

Would recommend Sun, Apr 3, 2011
Great base area to visit the Riviera (French and Italian). The one bedroom apartment is clean and reasonable. Would prefer that the Wifi connection is free and as well as the daily parking. But the street parking is free from 7pm to 9am so we were able to work around that schedule. I would stay in this hotel or apartment again.

Attractions

Eze Village is just a few minutes away.

Excellent Modern Hotel/Motel

Would recommend Mon, Apr 5, 2010
This is a new hotel/motel in Eze Village, on the Moyenne Corniche. It is a partly self-service residence hotel, meaning that the apartments have a working kitchen (with pots, pans, dishwasher, stove...but you have to get all of your own supplies) so that you can buy your own food and cook it. There are also laundry facilities. There is a swimming pool (not open except in summer) and there is plenty of parking in the underground garage. The suite we had(a one bedroom but with extra fold-out in the living room) was immaculately clean, well lit, well ventilated, well noise insulated and had a fine modern bathroom (towels and soap provided as were bedlinens) and an extra half bathroom with a john. Despite the "guests take care of themselves" premiss, a maid came every day to clean up. All apartments have a terrace looking out on Eze Village and the Mediterranean. We were there in late March, so off-season, and it was quiet and pleasant day and night. It is essential to have a car because, although there is bus service to Eze, it takes quite awhile to get there by bus. In addition to everything else, the price was certainly right: Much cheaper --- and better --- than staying in Nice, Monaco, Beausoleil or Menton, leaving plenty of money to rent a car. The staff were present from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. (10 p.m. in summer) and were friendly and helpful and speak good English. Breakfast is available (and good) for 10 Euros for adults. Otherwise, it's cook it yourself (a very nice market just down the street) or eat at one of the many restaurants in Eze Village (or wherever else you care to drive). Eze Village is about 5 km from Monaco and about 8 km from Nice on the Moyenne Corniche and 22 km to Nice Airport by autoroute (getting off at La Turbie). Just one thing about driving, except for the autoroute, all of the roads are narrow and have many curves. In summer, there is a great deal of traffic. So, you have to be a good, patient, and attentive driver. We think this hotel/motel is a great bargain particularly for friends or family traveling together and who want to spend several days on the Cote d'Azure. Because of its location, it is not a place to stay if you are only spending one or two nights unless you are traveling by car.

Time saver

As stated, the location of this hotel/motel makes having a car a necessity. It is best for a stay of several days (we stayed for five) although for those who are travelling by car, it would be perfectly fine for an overnight. Please note that it is NOT convenient to the train station at Eze Bord-de-Mer.
