Residence Eza Vista

This is a new hotel/motel in Eze Village, on the Moyenne Corniche. It is a partly self-service residence hotel, meaning that the apartments have a working kitchen (with pots, pans, dishwasher, stove...but you have to get all of your own supplies) so that you can buy your own food and cook it. There are also laundry facilities. There is a swimming pool (not open except in summer) and there is plenty of parking in the underground garage. The suite we had(a one bedroom but with extra fold-out in the living room) was immaculately clean, well lit, well ventilated, well noise insulated and had a fine modern bathroom (towels and soap provided as were bedlinens) and an extra half bathroom with a john. Despite the "guests take care of themselves" premiss, a maid came every day to clean up. All apartments have a terrace looking out on Eze Village and the Mediterranean. We were there in late March, so off-season, and it was quiet and pleasant day and night. It is essential to have a car because, although there is bus service to Eze, it takes quite awhile to get there by bus. In addition to everything else, the price was certainly right: Much cheaper --- and better --- than staying in Nice, Monaco, Beausoleil or Menton, leaving plenty of money to rent a car. The staff were present from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. (10 p.m. in summer) and were friendly and helpful and speak good English. Breakfast is available (and good) for 10 Euros for adults. Otherwise, it's cook it yourself (a very nice market just down the street) or eat at one of the many restaurants in Eze Village (or wherever else you care to drive). Eze Village is about 5 km from Monaco and about 8 km from Nice on the Moyenne Corniche and 22 km to Nice Airport by autoroute (getting off at La Turbie). Just one thing about driving, except for the autoroute, all of the roads are narrow and have many curves. In summer, there is a great deal of traffic. So, you have to be a good, patient, and attentive driver. We think this hotel/motel is a great bargain particularly for friends or family traveling together and who want to spend several days on the Cote d'Azure. Because of its location, it is not a place to stay if you are only spending one or two nights unless you are traveling by car.

Perfect location, not too far from Monaco or Nice. No pedestrian or vehicle traffic around. Nice and quiet neighborhood. Best part of our stay: dined at "hole on the wall" walking distance restaurants, could not have asked for more. We recommend without a doubt.

Great base area to visit the Riviera (French and Italian). The one bedroom apartment is clean and reasonable. Would prefer that the Wifi connection is free and as well as the daily parking. But the street parking is free from 7pm to 9am so we were able to work around that schedule. I would stay in this hotel or apartment again.

Great Hotel if you stay a while, has cooking facilities, nice rooms and the staff are very helpful. I didn't like that everything else was extra. When they say parking and internet are available they should say at a cost or give a price. If you dont use either it is a great place.

Appartement hôtel très pratique avec un enfant en bas age , mal isolé on entendait beaucoup les voisins de la chambre au dessus , les retouches de ménage sont très vite faites , l'aspirateur n'a pas été passé pendant notre séjour de 3 nuits , un peu limite surtout avec un enfant qui se traîne par terre ,petit déjeuner cher pour la contenance !!!!!!!!!

la chambre est en fait un petit appartement tres agreable , avec un coin cuisine equipee un balcon terrasse très appreciable pour un petit dejeuner au soleil le panorama est sympa avec vue -au loin - sur la mer;
