Best Hotel In A Small Town
The historic hotel is old and beautiful with a very cozy feel. The bathroom could use an update. Its very difficult to shower with only a 2 foot panel of glass next to you, the floor becomes a swimming pool. The room overall was bright and cozy
but the bed was bad. The linens and comforters were great but the mattress or feather topper was so uneven from it being slept on many times. It was high in the middle and low on the sides, felt like you're going to roll off. The room service was fast and friendly and the food was excellent. The gym is pretty much non-existant, just a bike and an arm gym, the ski machine is so outdated and doesnt really work. The hotel really has that grand historic feel but just needs a little maintenance. It is in a beautiful location and in walking distance to everything and the train station.

Short walk from hotel
Besides the hotel, the Quality Inn down the street has an excellent fine dining restaurant with all of the regional cuisine we were looking to try. If you love wine visit Bertrand at his wine shop Ogre du Vin. The local market was great but is only open certain days of the week, get there early!
