Friendly for all
Our experience at the Chapeau Rouge in DIJON, France was great. The hotel's location is perfect; it is only a few minutes away from the train station and you can walk to restaurants, banks(ATMs), cathedrals, pharmacies...all types of businesses, etc...The staff was very friendly and helpful and they speak English; they keep your luggage if needed and they also made arrangements for our cab ride to Gray. The room was spacious and clean. There was a Music Festival during the week we were in town; once you walked into the hotel, the noise stayed behind and we all slept well. The breakfast was very tasty with fresh croissants and juices; their restaurant is the best in town, so make sure you make a reservation. I would definately return to the city of Dijon and stay at the Chapeau Rouge.

Once you are at the hotel, there is no need for cabs. You can walk to the cathedrals that are just a few minutes away.
