The Ibis Carcassonne Centre hotel is located downtown, a few minutes from the railway station and Tourist Office. The medieval city and Canal du Midi are a short stroll from the hotel for guests wishing to explore the charms of Carcassonne. As well as its48 air-conditioned rooms available for booking, it has covered pay parking, a snack bar open 24/24 and Wifi wireless Internet connection for guests on a business trip. Restaurants are available close by.

Horrible Bug spray

This hotel room was the worst of over a month on the road. The smell of bug killer was nauseating. On top of having to breathe this horrible smell, we had bugs in our beds! I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. Location and staff were great, but they certainly need to improve the beg issue.

Very close to the walled old town which is horribly touristy.
