THE BEST HOTEL during our 2 week trip (and NOT expensive)
Im wont bore w too mahy details.. BUT they remodeled this hotel with fantastic linens, duves, fun design and EXCELLENT staff! We had a blast and owe 90% of our satisfaction to this hotel. The location is very good.. 1 block from train station and walking distance to literally all the good stuff.. dont stay far up the hill.. some of the nice hotel are up there.. there NOT in a good location for fun, food, drinks or shopping. this hotel is right in the middle of the city.. perfect! we looked at tons of hotels.. and double checked once there.. this was a fantastic choice. staff was excellent. again.. great value..

Short walk from hotel
walk up the hill for dinner. the staff will show you.. small quaint places for drinks and food.. lined up.. in a small very small walking only alley way.. goes for about 1 mile up the hill to the 'castle" at the top and a view. fantastic.

best kept secret in Cannes
location is just a block from the train station and is walking distance to everything in the best parts of town.. we loved this hotel.. staff was 100% spoke great English and breakfast for only $12 Euro was the best breakfast we had on our France trip.. (over more expensive breakfast in Paris. THey had eggs and bacon, 2 cold hams, cheese, of course all the common French baked goodies, FRESH grapefruit and Orange juice.. and all the expresso and lates you can drink.. wondereful! rooms where top notch.. lovely linens (looks brand new) and well designed rooms large bath, etc. could ask for more. complete value at $150 a night.

Seafood - "Rendezvous" this was some of thefreshest seafood i have ever eaten.. (we lived in San Francisco for years too) MUST go here if you want good seafood fresh.. prices are decent $20 and the quality is excellent. The mixed seafood salad can be split it was wonderful and twice as large as i expected.
