Spartan but clean
Was there to visit the Normandy Invasion Memorials. The hotel was convenient, clean and relatively comfortable, had secure parking and a McDonalds next door for Internet use.

The Ibis at Caen, gave great value for money although the staff were unaware or unable to direct us to the American / Normady sights they were quite knowledgeable about the castle. If you don't speak french I would suggest having all the questions you may have translated prior to using this facility as it seemed to be difficult to find anyone who understood us. Directions were accurate and the hotel was realitively simple to find after a hard days travel.
