I actually liked this hotel unlike some of the reviews I read after I had booked the same hotel. I thought the staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel it self was clean and bright. Our room was fine, maby a bit on the small side but I didn't mine. We didn't have breakfast there so I cant say much about that. My only criticism maby two would be : 1. The bar prices were out of this world. I had a brandy and had to pay 9 euros for the experience, ( It wasn't an XO or anything like it, just your run of the mill brandy ) No wander the bar was empty at night! I had my drink else where be for it was time to say " good night" 2. The wi -fi in the hotel wasn't very reliable.

Reasonable hotel choice
Hotel is not in the exact center of the city, but it is only a 10 min walk or 3 tram stops away. The reason I chose this location is the closeness of the train station, from where I picked a rental car after a couple of walking days in the city (a car is necessary for the wine country exploration). Got upgraded to an "executive room", which was fine with a comfortable bed. Wireless Internet access is for a daily fee, which is priced a bit too high. Breakfast buffet is good and wide, if you prefer to have more than a coffee and a croissant.

okay but
room was nice but warm the a/c wasn't working.the repairman was off sick?they didrefund 30.00 parking.not much of a resturant or bar. have to ride tram to do anything but it is easy.

Junamatkailijan turistihotelli
Hotelli sijaitsee rautatieaseman lähellä, jonne jaksaa matkalaukkunsakin vetää/kantaa. Kaupungin turisti-keskuksiin pystyy helposti kävelemään (joenrantakatu hyvä ns. siistimpi reitti). Myös raitiotievaunupysäkki on aivan hotellin vieressä. Hotellin lähellä Carrefour-marketti, josta hätätapauksissa löytyy iltapala-ainekset. Hotellilla oli myös englanninkielistä henkilökuntaa. Hotellilla oli ilmainen wlan (wifi). Kylpyhuone oli kuin uusi (2013 arvio) ja raikas, pystyi nautinnolla suihkun lisäksi myös kylpemään. Kylpyhuoneesta olisi voinut antaa kaikki 5 tähteä! Jos varauksessa lukee: "breakfast per-ns: XX eur - nonrefundable", se näköjään käytännössä tarkoittaa että tämä tulee varauksessa maksetun hinnan päälle. Aamiainen oli monipuolinen vaikka mainos epäselvä; Bordeauxin kahviloissa kun turisti hinnat.

prestations ne correspondant pas au nombre d'étoiles affichées. Personnel peu aimable. Pas de mini bar, pas de restaurant Pas de connection Wifi dans les chambres, seulement dans le Hall !!!
