Ideally located in the very heart of the old Bordeaux city- Hotel Gambetta has thirty-one quiet rooms all of which are en suite either with shower or bath and have internet access. There is a light and spacious breakfast room and also a cozy sitting room for guests to use. Situated a few steps away from Place Gambetta on one of the main pedestrians and picturesque shopping streets- its central location is ideal either for those here on business or those wishing to discover the architectural treasures of Bordeaux. In the evening- the adjoining St Pierre area benefits from having numerous restaurants- bars- theatre and cinemas. In the center of Bordeaux there is a state-of-art tramway system which allows easy moving to many place of interest. Gambetta stop is 100 meters from the hotel. The hotel also benefits from being within easy reach of the train station. There is a TGV service to Paris. Bordeaux also has its own airport Bordeaux-Merignac. The property is located 0mi N from BOD- BORDEAUX .The hotel is located in the city centre of Bordeaux

My stay at Hotel Gambetta, Bordeaux, FR

Having to carry the suitcase up the narrow stairs is very uncomfortable. Also, the position of the elevator does not help because in any case it is required to take the suitcase by the stairs. Also, the shower room is extremely narrow. The staff is very helpful and attentive. Very nice. They are the sole of the hotel. The arrangement for the breakfast is very good and convenient. If the hotel had a small lunch or even dinner facility that would help a lot but as it is, it is very good.
