Remy Le Bretton, the Chef with its "Simplelicious" card and an imagination deserving of the better tables around, executes the symphony of the flavors for the major pleasure of the palates while taking care of delighting the eyes to. It is easy and recommended to give in to the temptation of this cosmopolitan, elegant and sophisticated table. Classical values are not forgotten either.

Perfect setting for a weekend break.
This is a lovely hotel that's just off the main esplanade, and hence does not enjoy a sea view. However, it is perfectly located for walking either to the beach or into town. It's clean and tidy with the feel of a family-run hotel. We found the reception staff were friendly and helpful. It has an excellent restaurant which, unfortunately, we only got to enjoy on our last night. We would certainly recommend Hotel Grand Tonic as a base for a short break.

Hôtel à éviter
Lors d'un séjour touristique au pays basque, je suis descendu dans cet hôtel dont on peut dire que l'accueil est plutôt frais quand il y a un accueil à la réception, ce qui n'est pas toujours le cas. La chambre était ordinaire, il y avait des traces noires sur les joints de la baignoire et les voilages étaient dans un état lamentable, sales et déchirés. Pour le prix de ce 5 étoiles (divisé par deux par e-booker, j'ai ensuite réservé dans une maison d'hôte à quelques kilomètres et là c'était le jour et la nuit (accueil, propreté, gentillesse). Je propose donc d'éviter le Grand Tonic Hôtel, sauf si vous n'avez pas le choix
