Three day stay
First day coincided with the Tall Ships Regatta and the town and hotel were swamped. Room overlooked the river and was very nice. Things were quieter the next two days, but even when full our room was quiet and the beds were great. Only problem was the elevator that we were stuck in for 30 minutes and the sofa in our room which was not comfortable for sitting with ones feet on the floor. The location was great for strolling along the river and visiting the major attractions - castle and maritime museum on one side and cathedral and handicraft museum on the other.

Great hotel
I needed assistance getting to a ferry to an island in the archipelago. The front desk went to the trouble of letting me know which bus to take, and how to make my ferry connections. Great and friendly people, nice place to stay.

Very comfortable, friendly service
Right on the river that organizes the city. Fifteen minute walk or ten euro taxi ride from railway station. Spacious room for Europe, friendly front desk staff, excellent breakfast buffet -- paying the rate that includes breakfast is definitely a good deal, at least for a couple.

International tourist
Superb Turku city hotel
This hotel in Turku Finland is located on the river and is a delightful place to stay for pleasure or for business. The staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet is legendary. The decor is modern with wooden floors in the rooms and very comfortable furniture. Some rooms even have their own private Finnish wooden sauna, and there is also a large sauna and steam room open to all guests on a main floor.
