A good one to pick!!!!
The hotel was an excellent value when compared to other hotels in the area. We had prebooked an non cancelable room. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the center of the city. The hotel is very large and has all the amenities; king bed, coffee maker in room, separate bath and shower, refrig, and a great full gym, finnish bath(sauna) and a swimming pool. It would have been good to have known that the Finnair Bus goes directly from the airport to a stop right in front of the hotel. It cost 6.20 euros. We would stay there again.

Short walk from hotel
We used the Stockmann Department Store deli and market in the basement for great sandwiches and other prepared foods which we usually ate in different parks in the area. There is a park right across the street from the store too.

Tired but convenient
The rooms are somewhat old and tired and the bathroom layout could be better. Beds are a little firm for my taste. However, the staff is excellent, the included breakfast buffet has a broad selection, the sauna is a nice added amenity, and the location is very convenient (although not in the city center, it is a 3 minute tram ride away; easy walk to Opera, national museum and Sibelius monument; the Finnair airport bus also stops just outside the hotel). There are also at least three very good restaurants within 2 blocks.

Tällä kertaa tarvitsimme hotellia vain pelkkään yöpymiseen, joten muut palvelut jäivät käyttämättä. Hotelli oli lähellä viikonloppukohdettamme, kävelymatkan päässä, joka ratkaisi hotellivalinnan. Remontti ei häirinnyt, eikä liikenteen melu herättänyt. Parkkipaikkakin löytyi viikonloppuna kadun varresta. Aamiainen oli maukas. Kiitos.

Kolmen tähden hotelli
Hotellihuoneessa oli kumma haju. Huoneessa ei tainnut olla lainkaan ilmastointia, ei ollut ainakaan säätömahdollisuutta. Tuulettaminen tapahtui vilkasliikenteiselle kadulle päin. Lähin parkkihalli oli Finlandia-talolla eli aika kaukana. Hotellin oma parkkihalli oli remontissa mutta siitä ei infottu hotellin nettisivuilla. Alakerran baari oli viihtyisä.

Ideales Stadthotel für Citybesuch
Erwähnenswert ist das reichhaltige Frühstücksbüffet sowie das Schwimmbad u. die Sauna um 9. Stock. Von dort hat man eine prächtige Sicht auf die Stadt. Wir wurden upgegraded und erhielten schöne Studiozimmer mit Schlafzimmer u. Büro. Badezimmer mit separater Dusche und Badewanne.

Tuttu ja turvallinen
Varustetasoa laski eteen tullut tosiasia, että auton parkkihalli ei ollut käytössä. Ennen seuraavaa varausta tarkistan, milloin parkkihalli on jälleen käytössä.

Walking distance to sights and shopping. Very good restaurants around. Breakfast was very good but the coffee was diluted.
