Innovative Helsinki hotel that uses cutting-edge design concepts
The Klaus K hotel in downtown Helsinki provides its guests with a truly enriching environment. The use of leading new concepts in interior design, with great attention to detail, has created a hotel with a difference, inviting guests to participate in an ongoing journey rather than simply dropping by for a few days. There are three restaurants serving Finnish and international cuisine and also a day spa, sauna and exercise facilities. The Klaus K is located in the center of Helsinki and the main tourist attractions are just a short walk away.

- Contemporary and uncomplicated food for the savvy locals as well as the international visitor that wants to enjoy the Finnish spice of culinary life. Ilmatar serves as a banquet and theme restaurant as well as the Best of Finland Breakfast is served 7 days a week. The Best of Finland -breakfast is served Monday to Friday 6:30-10 and 7.30-11.30(between 21nd of June until 8th of August) during the weekends. The Best of Finland -brunch is served during weekends (SatSun) 12.00am- 3.00pm. Closed between 20th of June until 8th of August.
- Ahjo Club
- Ahjo is part of the Klaus K, finlands first Design Hotel. This lovely small club is located in Bulevardi, center of the city. We have room for 350 people and a small terrace for 20 persons. Agelimit is 24-years. The place is ideal for young urban city people who like good music, great atmosphere, and awesome cocktails. Dance, drink, chill and relax, here you can find everything you need. Music is big part of Ahjo. On fridays there is weekly changing club (Bad Habits, Tahko, Mediterraneo and Formula ). On saturdays you will be entertaned by our resident dj's (Spoogy, Sakke, J. Oliver and Tapio K). Once a month we give you incredible guest dj's all over the world.
- Restaurant Toscanini
- Our restaurant has received its cheerful and relaxed atmosphere from Tuscany, Italy. Here we offer you a modern country style kitchen under the Tuscan lilies. Our menu is based on the most essential elements of Italian kitchen, such as olive oil, herbs, tomatoes and Tuscan cheeses and cold cuts. In addition, our bread is baked daily by our own baker.

Great location, great price
Klaus K is a cool, contemporary hotel with very helpful staff and were friendly upon arrival. The lobby was very clean as well as the breakfast area. Our room was very clean and if you like unique and contemporary rooms, you will love Klaus K. The bed was very comfortable and the bathtub/shower was quite large. We were only in Helsinki for 2 days so we mainly did sight-seeing and walked as much of the city as possible. We highly suggest taking time to visit the Suomenlinna Sea Fortress. The night before our departure we wanted to print our boarding passes, but we having some difficulty and the front desk staff was extremely helpful. A major bonus is that the hotel does have a computer with a printer that you can print your boarding pass if necessary. Also, we had an opportunity to eat at the hotel restaurant and it was delicious.

Suomenlinna Sea Fortress. It is not too far to walk to the sea harbor and the fortress is only a short boat ride away.

Artsy design makes for odd digs
We needed an overnighter between plane connections and figured downtown trumped staying near the airport. It might have except due to it's being Sunday and a national holiday and summer vacation for apparently everybody, the downtown was essentially closed for the duration - no restaurants outside the hotels, or shops, or anything open, and the streets were nearly deserted. What we saw of Helsinki was pretty, exceptionally clean...and exceptionally expensive, especially for what food there was. The hotel itself provided very friendly and helpful staff (although they couldn't figure out their own wi-fi system and we couldn't get online anywhere around Helsinki), but the silly design elements of the hotel were more artsy than comfortable - weird closet, screwy lighting scheme, no workspace or bedside stand. Hard place to relax.

Be prepared for (in US terms) vastly overpriced food & drink. A cheap Chinese meal that would have cost maybe $30 in the US cost $75. Hotel and other modestly upscale dining would have run around $150 - $200; alcohol is especially pricey.

Finsk design - bra läge - bra frukost
Hotellet ligger på Bulevarden och ett stenkast från Stockmann så läget är perfekt. Hotellet har en stor variation på rummen och du bör vara obs att du inte hamnar i de små skolådor som vissa av rummen är. Frukosten är suverän med mycket närproducerade råvaror, fantastiskt. Däremot snålar man och du kommer inte att hitta sunkiga scrambled eggs och bacon. Det får du beställa OCH betala extra för. Personalen är trevlig och anstränger sig lite mer än vanliga hotell. Ifall du vill pröva nåt som är utanför kedjornas standard - pröva Klaus K.

El hotel está muy bien situado
El hotel está muy bien situado y las habitaciones son correctas. Faltaría espacio a nivel de armarios y, en general, prima el diseño sobre la practicidad.
