Totally renovated in 2008 Stay at this delightful Helsinki hotel to experience first-class amenities and service while traveling in Finland! My Review of Best Western Helsinki

Overall, a very nice, clean hotel. The location isn't the best, but it isn't difficult trip. There is no nightlife in the area, but this hotel caters mainly to a more mellow crowd, not drunken college students. For the price, the rooms should've included a microwave. It doesn't make sense, since each room has a fridge. Some of the staff isn't as friendly as I'm used to from pricey hotels, but it could be because I'm from America.

Since this location is out of the city center, I recommend buying a day pass, especially if you're going to travel to the island fort (big savings then!). Public transport to and from the hotel is VERY EASY.
