location/value
Nice grounds and relaxing Island atmosphere, but a lousy beach. You have to go to the islands to have a good beach and good snorkling. Restaurant is pleasantly located, open to the ocean, food ordinary except for beach BBQ night (good). Accommodation is pleasant in good weather, very friendly staff, good value, but not for swimming in the ocean. If you are coming to swim and enjoy the beaches, forget it. You need to take lots of expensive excursions.

Club Fiji
It's just ok. The staff seems poorly trained so dont expect a high level of service. Also expect to pay extra for typical amenities such as shuttle, coffee creamer, air conditioning for your room, etc.

nice, comfortable place for a few days
If you're looking for a place to stay for a few days that is relaxed, clean and secluded, yet a five minute cab ride to town, this is a really great choice. It's down the end of a long dirt road right on the water, the grounds and buildings are well kept and lovely, very traditional Fijian in theme. There are two decent restaurants right on the premises (pizza at jb's with a great water view!), and it's extremely quiet. I noticed a few complaints that it was a bit far from town, but for us it seemed so close, but you still felt you were in a very secluded location, which is what we wanted. The beach scenery was really beautiful, nice to look at although if you're looking for crystal clear water and great swimming, this is not the place. The water is very shallow and at certain points of the day you have to walk several yards out to get to the water. But you can still cool off. There is a pool, so you have that option. We flew in two days before our main hotel was ready, so we picked this place for a stop over, and we were very pleasantly surprised at how nice it really was for the price.

Not typical airport hotel and resort
+ Nice burres, hammocks on the beach, friendly personal. - Hotel shuttle is more (triple!) expensive than local taxi. After 10pm is for air transit traveler impossible to dine or buy something in hotel or surrounding. Staff from reception desk cannot help with local electric adapter. Bad internet in the hotel (good choice is very very cheap local Vodafone wireless card 3G/HSDPA available from Airport kiosk - 500MB=39F$ only!).

Dining or buy something after close of hotel restaurant: Local McDonald's or Indian take away restaurant by petrol station. Both of them very cheap and quick reachable by taxi.
