The hotel was opened in 1989 with six rooms, and the clients liked it so much that the hotel had to be extended. In 1999 a new extension was built to the old house and as the hotel rooms are constantly renovated most of them meet the junior suite requirements. The hotel also has a mini suite and the largest suite in Estonia. TÄHETORNI HOTEL has a romantic interior architecture, all the floors and rooms are interconnected via three spiral staircases leading all through the house and this makes the hotel excitingly and cosily full of various nooks and niches, while still leaving it open and spacious.

- Single or Double. All the rooms are cosy and comfortable. Direct phone lines and SAT TV are in customers' use, just as different accessories. Solutions are found according to every clients needs and wishes. Five rooms can be used as rooms for the disabled and one is specially for those who suffer from allergy. Certainly are separately smoking and non-smoking rooms. As the size of the rooms is mostly 25-35 square meters, bigger families can be accommodated as well using extra beds. Rooms are spacious and full of light. The security arrangements are contemporary according to the modern requirements.

- Besides the dining function the hotels restaurant and bar offer the guests opportunities to have a good time. In the summer people enjoy sitting on the summer terraces or in a beautiful back garden where they can also have a barbeque.

- TÄHETORNI HOTELs á la Carte restaurant consists of four interconnected rooms on two floors, one of them being the breakfast room. The restaurant offers direct access to the suite, to the hotel rooms as well as to the conference room, which makes using the restaurant especially convenient for the hotel guests. The second floor of the restaurant also contains the Oblong Room one of the walls of which is made up of windows and which therefore is especially well lit and festive making it a superb place for a smaller group of people (up to 17 depending on the layout of the tables) to celebrate a festive occasion. Next to the Oblong Room there is another restaurant room with 15 seats, and this also leads to the large wind sheltered terrace that is seemingly located at the middle of the hotel and is the guests favourite spot in the summer. - TÄHETORNI HOTELs romantic and softly coloured bar is open 24 hours a day. The cosy atmosphere in the bar is created with a fireplace, and the tables for two or four people are placed to ensure the privacy of the guests.
The characteristic Tähetorni atmosphere is also created with telescopes decorating walls as well as with the unique starry night sky inspired interior design and pictures of Nõmme on the walls. The bar has a wide selection of drinks and the bar also offers snacks to go with the drinks. The bar guests may also order meals to the bar from the restaurant. The bar always plays quiet background music. Thanks to the hotels architectural solutions (all the rooms being interconnected via the spiral staircases) it is easy to go from the bar to the hotel rooms, to the sauna, or to the restaurant.
