Nice two days in Tallin

Located directly in Old Town, so most sightseeing could be done on foot and visit your room in the meantime. Hundreds of cafes and restaurants nearby. Clean large room, decent breakfast included. Very reasonable priced, at least in low season. Roms spread on many floors (reception and dining on 2nd) in old building arranged for hotel.

Ideal short break

Very pleased with the quality. It was listed as 3 star and we were not quite sure what to expect but were pleasantly surprised. Rooms were very spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was very good for the price although there was not enough room in the breakfast room to accomodate every one at once. Would certainly recommend.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Try the lamb dumplings or the pot roast at the Troika in the main square or try the Porgu Brasserie. Both are excellent value.

Dissaapointed in hotel

The hotel was large, bathroom was nice clean and spacious the best part of the room, but the furniture was tatered looking and the room stuffy. it had an odor from the carpet which looked like it has never been cleaned. Left the window open and the smell wen away wasn't as stuffy. The beds are really small and uncomfortable so are the pillows. It's not worth the money. I wouldn't recommend.

Fantastic Location

The location of this hotel is both its strength and weakness. Situated in the Old Town it is a short walk to all the main sites yet a short walk to get to with your luggage if you arrive after 10:00am. BUT, it is on a street with a number of bars and nightclubs that are open all night and the noise is heard even with all windows closed - not nice on a hot night. Earplugs are provided by the hotel but not everyone likes using these. Apart from that, staying at the hotel was a good experience. The room was large with a well apppinted bathroom. The decoration was perhaps not the most modern but the room had a TV, fridge and safe. We had to ask for the room to be serviced on our first day because it had not been done by 2:30 pm after we had left the room at 9:00 qm with a door tag stating the room was available to clean. Reception staff were welcoming but when we asked for a taxi to be called when we left, we had to repeat the request when the taxi did not arrive - we doubted it had been ordered initially
