The newest of the Meriton Hotels, the Meriton Old Town Garden Hotel is located in the heart of the old town displaying true architectural wonder by transforming a 16th century merchant house into a stylish hotel. Connecting two of Tallinn Old town's most famous picturesque boulevards, Lai and Pikk, the Meriton Old Town Garden Hotel brings the magic and mystery of medieval Tallinn right to your doorstep. Offering 50 rooms, each completely unique in size and design, the Meriton Old Town Garden Hotel gives a perfect balance of historical authenticity and modern comfort. The hotel is accessible from both Pikk and Lai streets, elegantly connected by a charming courtyard. During the summer months the hotel courtyard comes to life hosting a truly traditional Estonian Restaurant serving a wide selection of local food and drinks. All of Old Town's main attractions, shops, galleries and sights are within a short walking distance. Tallinn Old Town's main square is literally, steps away. In addition to its rooms, the hotel prides itself in its very rich selection of food and beverage outlets. On the ground floor, the hotel offers the locals' favorite Cafe Mademoiselle where freshly ground Illy coffee is brewed and delicious pastries made from the freshest ingredients are baked daily. The Tapas & Wine concept located in the hotel's wine cellar offers a delicious light menu and a large selection of small vineyard wines for those seeking a light meal and a relaxed atmosphere. Finally, the Estonian Dining Room offers the most authentic delicacies of the Estonian Kitchen using original food and drink recipes in a very home-like setting. An experience any traveller to Tallinn must indulge in. new hotel however room so small

new hotel however room so small that it is smaller than those in Japan. Also when they say twin bed or bunk bed, it means bunk bed and there is no ladder to get to the upper bunk bed. Have to upgrade and cost 20 euro extra.

A closet for a room

I've never stayed in such a small room. This was much more like a hostel or dorm room than a hotel room. The room had enough space for a bunk bed and that was it. No chair, no desk, no mini bar, no anything. Great location, horrible value.
