Breakfast was offered by the hotel. Other meals were found in restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. All the food offered us was fresh, attractively presented and delicious. A. Johnson

Location is everything
There were no rooms available for the standard room at the time of my arrival. They upgraded me to the Suite at no charge. The rooms were kept spotless and the staff was very knowledgeable about events and places to go. The breakfast was first class. I could have not asked for a better place to stay.

Some good, some bad
The bad: 1) They gave another person a key to our room. That person walked into our room while we were there at 1am. 2) One of the people at the front desk, who called a cab company to get two cab rides back to the airport for early in the morning (one at around 4am and one at around 6am) called a cab run by her friend that happened to be at least twice as expensive as any other cab in town (the same driver for both rides). The good: After giving away our hotel room while we were in it, they upgraded to a nicer room.

Right in the centre of the old
Right in the centre of the old town and very close to all your shopping needs. Service was friendly. Room is basic so unless you definitely need luxury, I would definitely recommend this hotel. Good value for money.

Rakkausmatkalla
Mukava hotelli
Hyvä siisti hotelli, loistavalla sijainnilla aivan vanhan kaupungin ytimessä. Lyhyt kävelymatka mm. Viru keskukseen ja hyviä ravintoloita oli lähellä paljon. Hotellissa oli hyvä aamupala ja henkilökunta mukavaa, myös hotellin hierontoja tuli kokeiltua ja hyviä oli !

Beer House, ystävällistä palvelua, hyvää ruokaa ja juomaa. Goodwin Steak House sijaitsee samalla kadulla kuin hotelli ja tuolta saa aivan uskomattoman hyviä pihvejä ! Kannattaa ehdottomasti käydä, palvelu oli myös todella hyvää.

Viihtyisä hotelli keskellä vanhaa kaupunkia
Yövyimme ensimmäistä kertaa tässä hotellissa mutta emme varmasti viimeistä kertaa. Oikein hyvä hotelli tähän vuodenaikaan, kun ei vielä ole tarvetta ilmastoinnille (huoneessa ei sis ilmastointia) ja lähellä oleva kävelykatu vielä suht rauhallinen öiseen aikaan. Ikkunan pimennysverho saisi olla oikeasti pimentävä, jotta se ajaisi tehtävänsä. Nyt aamun sarastaessa verho toimii lähinnä näköesteenä. Kokolattiamatosta huoneessa annamme myöskin hiukan miinusta. Mutta muutoin olimme oikein tyytyväisiä huoneeseemme sekä hotellin henkilökuntaan ja aamupalaan.

Vana Wiru hotellin sijainti on erinomainen ostoksilla kiertelyn kannalta. Viru keskus, Kaubamaja, Stockmann, Solaris, kaikki ostospaikat ovat n. kymmenen min. kävelyetäisyydellä. Voisin kuvitella palaavani hotelliin myös Oopperassa käydessäni. Aamiainen oli monipuolinen, mehut olivat erityisen herkullisia. Kuten monissa muissakin Tallinnan paikoissa, varsinkin kahviloissa, maitoallergikon oli vaikea tunnistaa mitä voi syödä.

ravintola Dominic, "kulman takana" Vene kadulla. Laatuviinejä myös laseittain, herkullista ruokaa ja rauhallinen miljöö. Solaris kauppakeskuksen alakerran ruokakauppa, Meiran luomumaustepussit n. 1e. kevyt ja edullinen tuliainen itselle ja kavereille.

Hyvä hotelli keskeisellä paikalla.
Erittäin hyvällä paikalla.Sviitissä saisi olla poreammeen päällä säädettäviä valoja joita pitäisi pystyä himmentämään.
