Hotel Room badly needed refurbishing and Tiled Floor needs replacing Cleaned every day but Staff fighting loosing battle as badly needs updating.Cheapest Wine £20.00 a bottle on Wine List Egytian White but added to this was Service charge 12% plus
Local Taxes 1.25% nearly £23.00 per bottle. Same Wine at Supermarket £7.00 Hotel has strict policy not to bring food or drink into Hotel. We were Bed and Breakfast ,Food very good and plenty at Breakfast.Evening Meals which we had was of a good Standard but all prices subject to Serve charge plus local taxes.Would we stay here again No.
Lots to do, snorkel, dive, glass bottom boat, get a lot of sun by the beach (not very much sand space) or lay by the many pools to choose from.
The buffet food was not that great, but there were other restaurants to choose from, which I highly
suggest. The staff was great and very friendly.
Our room had an ocean view from every room.
Good for family trips.
I worked in Sharm for a year and just had to go back !!This hotel was in a great location on Ras Um el Sid (great hotel for divers and snorkeling, or those who just like to chill by the pool) walking distance from Il Marcato shopping and dining
complex, only a 10 min taxi ride to both the old market (aka the souk in Arabic), or Naama Bay(sharm's replica of the vegas strip with lights and action everywhere!) for about 15 - 20 Egyptian pounds ($3-4)which you must haggle for the price it's just the culture :) The property is absolutely massive and stunning, PHOTOS DO NO JUSTICE!...had a great view in the 2700 building facing the sea! nice king size room & very friendly staff! plus there is plenty to do!
Note: Do not get a henna tattoo(which are very common here) the sheets were pure white and we were charged at checkout around $60 cause my tattoo left a small mark on the bottom of the sheet, which they claimed would not wash out:(
However I would go back for sure!
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Short walk from hotel
Very short walk to shopping, dining, and night life! Which they also have lot's of dining options and activities in the hotel itself if you want to stay inside.
