Good product with good location. ME 07/08 Its a modern block. Is located in the heart of Luxor a few minutes walk to the River Nile, close to the tourist shopping district, 300 yards from Luxor Temple and one mile far from Karnak temple.

The Emilio (Domina) Inn is in a great location. Only a few minutes walk to Luxor temple and the ferry terminal for getting over to the West bank to see the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut, Valley of the Nobles, etc.
Rooms are medium size and come
with a fridge and balcony so you can sip a cold beer in the sun and plan your next day.
Staff are very friendly, the pool on the roof is clean and you get a great view of Luxor Temple and the Nile. Karnak Temple is a 5 minute taxi drive.
My only issue with this hotel is the street noise below. But if you get a room on the 5th floor upwards you should be ok.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Short walk from hotel
At the airport, tell the taxi driver your going to the Emilio and not the Domina Inn as that's its old name. The taxi should cost you 50-60 Egyptian pounds. As with most African countries, if your from Europe, you'll be frequently asked in the street if you want to buy gifts or take a taxi or carridge ride.If you don't want to, say 'La Shakran' (No Thankyou). Or just ignore them. You can get tours for the Valley of the Kings, etc. from this hotel but you can get them for half the price if your prepared to haggle down on the banks of the Nile. Plus, when you buy a ticket for valley of the Kings, check the ticket as some only allow you entrance to three tombs so choose which ones you'd like to see prior to your visit. I'd recomend going to Karnak temple at night to see the light show.
