Experience the pyramids from the luxury of a lush desert oasis
This award-winning, luxury resort near the great pyramids of Giza is an ideal location for sightseeing, relaxing and soaking up the sun. Let the staff at the Oasis Hotel arrange a tour of the nearby pyramids and Sphinx or guests can create their own self-directed adventure. Much of the year the climate is perfect for a swim in the enormous outdoor pool. But if it is too chilly for a dip, relax in the garden with a traditional Egyptian drink. No one will go hungry here with eight restaurants for sharing a meal with family or friends on site.

This hotel was not a four star hotel. It was run down and unkempt looking. In our room the blanket, bedspread and carpet smelled musty and damp and the lamps and table were covered in dust. The staff either could not understand English or were
lazy or would not follow up on simple requests. Eg. When four of us were escorted to a table together we had to ask them several times on different occassions to set the table for four people but often we had to go looking for silver ware and napkins and set it ourselves. We did complain to the manager and he would do it himself but it would happen again and again. On the last day of our stay there was a rain storm. The hotel ceiling leaked badly and the bathrooms and reception area were flooded. The toilets were closed off to the guests and we all huddled in one area in reception and waited to leave the hotel. On the positive side, the hotel has lovely gardens and is near the Pyramids. In my opinion, this hotel should be downgraded to a two star hotel and the staff should be trained to cater to tourists. We did not have a good experience with this hotel.
