great stay and service.
Very kind people all around. I ate at the Mall a ceviche and got foodpoisening. The hotel supplies a free of charge medical emergency service on site with excellent care. I was back on my feet after a good night's sleep again. Spacious and clean rooms, good airco (necessary in Guayaquil). I recommend this place highly to anyone. Please bear in mind you should add to the per night USD price of the hotel 20% in taxes.

The mall across the street is very american, pleasant a/c shopping. But stay away from a fish place called ''Sol de Manta' (read comment above).

Very large mall with all the stores and services you would expect in North America.
