The beds are a little hard for my preference, but very nice anyways.
Overall, we really
enjoyed our week here.
I purchased two rooms for a weeks stay. During that stay we encountered two days without water in the hotel and a power outage.Staff was oblivious to our needs. I had to say something so that they would act. I shouldn't have said anything. Staff
did NOT act quick enough to accomodate guests. One room had to be switched to another that smelled mouldy.Loose plumbing in the other room.
I booked two rooms for myself and other family members. In my family's room there was an isue with the TV remote(needed battery change).Guest services was condescending in telling us that you had to push the button and keep it down.It wasn't the
remote, it was the ATTITUDE.
In my room the toilet was leaking when I first arrive and the toilet latch kept getting stuck and was broken. They waited until my last day to come and replace the latch, which i find to be UNACCEPTABLE.
on the second to last day before we were to depart,we entered the elevator and looked at the floor and we thought it was spilled milk.It was roach poison.it looks like someone grabbed a big cup and tossed it in there. We were on the last floor and the smell was very UNPLEASANT.When I decided to go back downstairs I took the other elevator andsaw that same poison, but looked like a larger amount was thrown in there.I had to put my shirt over my face because of the fumes. These elevators are not very big and I informed the concierge and he didn't look to happy and was very apologetic but the damage was done.
OH my god. I have visited Guayaquil Ecuador 3 times. I stay in different hotels to find the diversity and experience. however, i stopped to have a cocktail with my friend and we were sat in the bar downstairs by the checkin counter. I have never
shopped prices for drinks. NEVER. I WOULD STRONGLY ADVISE THAT YOU DO BEFORE THEY HUSSLE YOU. Obviously my favorite drink which I have had all over the world including vacationing in Hawaii (pricy place), is a Jack & Coke. simple. A shot of Jack Daniels and a glass with coke. My friend had a Pina Colada. One drink. We were to then go for a walk now that we checked out this hotel on the main drag, but WOW. This bill !! are you kidding me ???? BEFORE ANY TIP I WOULD LEAVE,,,,,, $26.82. yes, TWO DRINKS AT 27 DOLLARS !! I WILL NEVER EVER ENTER THAT FRONT DOOR AGAIN. NO STAYING THERE NOR EVEN HAVING A RESTAURANT TASTE. BEWARE OF THE SURPRISE BILL. This is not a night club or a cobana pool. Its the bar !!! I advise never staying there unless you have a company that is not concerned with budjet during a trip. THIS IS A RIP OFF !!! ( AND THE DRINK WAS WEAK AT BEST ALSO !!!.
Wonderful hotel with fabulous staff. I felt very welcomed and all staff members went out of their way to make you visit truly a vacation. The restaurant had WONDERFUL food that was very reasonably priced and the sushi bar was a treat. There is a
spa and gym on the lowest level and the massages are also reasonably priced. The gym was a bit disappointing but clean and accessible. The hotel is very centrally located as well. I would love to stay again.
I have stayed here in the past, I like the location. Staff is very friendly, rooms are confortable, excellant complimentary breakfast. Wish they had an outdoor pool, even the indoor pool is stretching the definition of pool, the pool is very small.
