good place to stay with some minor remarks
i got a room on the 15th floor with a great view of the city. a very very comfortable bed and pillows. good airco and clean room. staff overall kind and efficient. however, the restaurant menu is very limited. after two nights i knew the menu by heart already. mini bar empty, you can buy stuff in the lobby or nearby. hm... pool is a rather large bathtub. gym ok. breakfast ok but nothing out of the extraordinary. last time i got a similar price for the sheraton, which i liked a bit better. also closer to the airport and shuttle to/fro airport more frrquent.

avoid in the malls the fish place sol de manta. the cebiche got me very sick !

Convenient over-night before going to th
We stayed at this hotel only for a quick overnight before a morning flight to the Galapagos. It met our needs. [...] The breakfast buffet was much better than most, too.

GOOD INSIDE, BE CAREFUL OUTSIDE
Staff within hotel was helpful. However person at the door (last name [...]) was aggressive. At departure he refused to let our car park in the front door to load the luggage unless someone from reception would authorize. When questioned about this we were confronted with an aggressive manner.

Short overnight stay between flights. Hotel was clean and close to the airport. Appeared to have been recently renovated (fresh paint, new carpet). Short but nice stay.

very comfy room
The Regency House had remodeled the guest rooms. to our surprise we had a jaccuzi in our bathroom, and a kitchen. it was pretty cool. unfortunately, they were under major construction, no dining available. and also a wedding reception was taking place, which kinda sucked, because there was no where for us to park, when we came back from eating out. the lady at the front desk made us wait about 15 min before checking in. after i just drove 5+ hrs to get there. she was not friendly at all. other then that, it was a nice stay. alot of restaurants near by. very near by. malls, dining, movies, kids stuff. no more than 15-20 min drive. my girlfriend is from this area, so id stay again, as long as hotel dining is open too!

i recommend the pompton queen, awesome food!! also chuck e cheese up the hwy. 5 min.
