Sleek, budget hotel with pool in Santo Domingo’s business center

Very nice and Modern, But too Noisy...
The people that work here are extremely friendly, the room is very clean and the hotel is close to everything. I did stay here for 2 nights, and couldnt get a good sleep due to the noise in the halls. Every time some opens and closes their door you feel like they are coming into your room.

rooms were noisy and walls paper thin. halways were always dark. area was ok but not much after dark. limited restaurants. front staff was unproffesional. they promised upgrade to an Ambasador Status member and then gave me some dumb story that they were fully booked and couldnt do it. but my colleague got one even as i stood there and he wasnt a premier member. Price was outrageous for Santo Domingo Holiday Inn . the interContinental was cheaper and better. I will never stay there ever again.

nice modern hotel
the hotel is nice ...very modern...lots to do inside ...very nice pool area...close to alot of shopping and places to eat...the only down fall is i stayed on the 7th floor and there was a club next door blasting music till 3am on friday and saturday. you could hear it...kinda sucks if you need quite like me to sleep. otherwise great place

there is a casnio inside the hotel as well as 3 restaurants to eat . very good food with the room serivce as well

Great hotel. Could be better location
Hotel I believe only 6 months old. Not many guests. Restaurant had interesting, well presented fare and limited but pleasing wines. Breakfast buffet was very varied and excellent. Very obliging and pleasant staff.

Arrange ground transportation to/from the airport before you arrive. Use the hotel arranged ground transportation to move about. There are no metered taxis and some very fanciful fares can easily befall the unaware so know your fare beforehand.
