- The province of Samana is located at the north east of the Dominican Republic. A wonderful place full of history, traditions, incredible beaches, and natural marvels. From The Bannister Hotel, you can enjoy all the Samana experience: whale watching (from mid-January to mid-march), boat trip to Cayo Levant-ado Island to enjoy its wonderful beach, the Waterfall El Limon (40mn drive), jeep and 4 wheel Quad safaris and horseback excursions along the beaches or into the mountains. Also, the Natural Park "Los Haitises" where you can observe the traces of the Tainos culture discovering its paints by travel-ling from one cave to another through the mangrove by boat.
