Great hotel 5 star looks 4 star really
Alll the rooms we requested with 1 king we received 4 with double beds and 1 with king. After the staff just pushed the beds together to form a king, lol. But over all the rooms were nice, Junior suite with balcony. Wasn't able to use the tub cause the water was brown. Food was good not great, hibatchi was terrible, and was subjected to a sales pitch for time share program because we had the concierge book our dinners?? Had a birthday dinner for my dad's 60th and requested a small cake and the concierge said it would cost $50 ???? So I would definitely give the hotel a 5 star rating but the service and food not so much, however overall the resort is beautiful.

Great Birthday Getaway
1. Family oriented place ! 2. European people in majority. 3. Language: Spanish, French and basic English. 4. Friendly and very helpful staff. Beautiful resort !!! 5. Huge space and a lot of privacy. Clean. Smell nice everywhere you go (even beach/pool bathrooms). 6. Not a problem to find a sofa, yes sofa,pool chair, beach chair, because pool is huge. 7. Pool's bar, bars and buffet. Adult pool. 8. Kids zone and kid's pool. 9. Walking distance to Gabi beach or by golf cart. 10. Delicious food, OK drinks, Excellent beach and pool service. Gorgeous landscaping. 11. Do not forget to TIP ! These people work very hard for you to make your vacations unforgettable. 12. Reserve the Reserve... and Enjoy it !

In and out. Choice belongs to people. Buffet or Restaurant- you have plenty of choices. Fresh and very tasty food. Plenty of choices: pasta, meat, salads, vegetables, fruits, deserts... Hint: restaurant you have to make early reservation. Dress code for: Aqua, Passion and Vento !!!!

Great family getaway
Spent 5 days at the Reserve. Such a nice trip. Great Kids club, good service, a lot of nice restaurants, Good beach and so on. Can't complain. One thing to note: there are a lot of mosquitoes. But That's for all hotels in Punta cana not just here. Overall, very good wish I would come back.

A great hotel, but bring lots of bug spray
I just got back from a week stay at The Reserve in Punta Cana. The resort is all that I expected, beautiful layout, relaxing, family friendly and great staff. I was there for a wedding of a family member, and all together there were about 60 people that came from all over the world for the wedding. The staff was great at accomodating us, and for some reason when I checked-in, I was upgraded to a swim up room, and hey I didn't complain. The rooms are a good size and clean for the most part. The only problem I had was that I was eaten up with mosquitos every night as I slept. After the third night, I asked the concierge to spray my room and they did for the rest of my stay...unfortunatlly, that didn't seem to get rid of the bugs. Truly my only complaint about my stay here was that only. I will go back again, but this time with a bag fool of bug spray.

Amazing Stylish Vacation
My husband, teen son and I just got back and had a fabulous time. I can't say enough about the grounds ,decor and overall feel of this resort. Think W hotel goes caribbean. The food was very good at the reserve restaurants and it was a real treat to have Gabi Beach included. We will be defiantly be returning in 6 months!
