Serene Punta Cana resort attracts with spa services, nearby golf course
The PUNTACANA Hotel manages intimacy and contemporary luxury by the Caribbean Sea. The beachfront deluxe rooms, junior suites and villas overlook well-manicured grounds or the ocean, and show off tropical and modern décor. Easy access to the P.B. Dye golf course nearby is a major draw, but many guests choose to stay on the property for water sports, spa treatments and strolls through the nature reserve.

- Nestled among a grove of native coconut trees right on the beach, our beach casitas offer a true Dominican experience. The two or three bedroom arrangements include an open-air living room/dining room and a garden or terrace. One bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed, while the other rooms have two twins.

- La Cana is PUNTACANA Resort & Club's main restaurant on the grounds of the PUNTACANA Hotel. Set within a spacious eating hall with amazing views of the Caribbean Sea, La Cana serves grand buffets for breakfast and special events. No reservations are required. Open from 7:00 am to 10:30 am

- This casual American grill is beset by breathtaking views of La Cana Golf Course and the sparkling Caribbean Sea. A perfect bookend to a round of golf, El Grill is conveniently located in the La Cana Golf Clubhouse. Known for its succulently prepared Porterhouse, El Grill is the perfect destination for steak lovers. Boring
This hotel needs a lot of fixing to do.AC did not work, it was no hot water, toilet was't flushing properly, ac was leeking on the steps it was slippery.Overall we did not like this hotel sorry.

What nice people!
All the employees are incredibly nice and make you feel awsome. There were a lot of mosquitoes, so bring your own OFF unless you'd like to pay $30.00 for a small bottle. Rent a car if you want to go see other places otherwise you will have to rely on locals to find your way around which it's difficult unless you speak their language. You don't have to worry about buying pesos...the exchange rate varies everywhere..so just forget about counting every peso...just enjoy yourself. The Hotel is beautiful if you are planning to rest and eat...wonderful breakfast.

From the Village call a cab and go to the other malls in the city...the village doesn't have much to offer.

Hotel Punta Cana
The Hotel is situated in a vast resort complex near a golf course comprised essentially of housing that has been sold off to individual ownership. The resulting hotel environment is that of a ghost town. There is a shuttle to nearby commerce and restaurants. The Hotel suffered from huge amounts of amased rotting seaweed (described as unusual). We stayed overnight for a stopover between linked flights and the hotel met its purpose. For a holiday, I would not recommend this hotel when so many others are in full swing nearby.

Punta Cana village near the airport has five restaurants and a Wendys. The portuguese restaurant offers authentic and good quality cuisine, well ahead of the theme restaurant food served by the all inclusive hotels in the area.

Was ok for the money if you don't eat
they had a great dive shop very professional.The front desk staff not very helpful and acted as if they did not care.

Relaxing in paradise
We had 7 full days to enjoy in Paradise, the rooms were up to date and really clean. Everything was great, morning breakfast and activities that you could sign up for while we were there like; scuba diving, swimming with stingrays and sharks, it was all amazing. The prices for lunch/dinner and gift shop were spendy but it was all located in the gated resort.

You can rent golf carts to get around the whole resort for $40 a day, saved a lot of walking around in the hot weather.

Excellent Resort
We had many things to do at the resort, 5 beaches, water sports, jungle trails, and the golf course. Even though we do not play golf we had a nice time, Ill recommend this resort to anyone that is looking for a relaxing time, if you want party and beer this is not the place. Very nice for couples there was a spa and even a ranch. Not many shopping options aside from the village that was available through a free shuttle. Food was good but is not included in my package

The most relaxing vacation ever.
Quiet,relaxing vacation. Every one of the hotel staff, restaurant personal, gardeners, and housekeeping were very helpful and friendly. Neat and clean.
