Overview

The sprawling villa façade of Sanctuary Cap Cana by Alsol -All Inclusive is only one clue to the grandeur that lies within. The Spanish Colonial-inspired resort spares no opulence. Guests retire to spacious suites and villas-some with direct access to the saltwater pool. Restaurants and bars play up the tropical setting, while an upscale spa ensures private time.

Dining

Restaurants at Sanctuary Cap Cana by Alsol -All Inclusive pay special attention to ambiance. Blue Marlin, a casual seafood eatery, sets the scene for relaxation with oceanfront dining, while Argentinean grill The Steakhouse stirs drama with a cast iron and brick oven that uses charcoal to fire juicy meats to perfection. For the most special of occasions, request a private, candlelit, seaside table. Follow up with a cocktail at the romantic Love bar, one of many lounges on the property.

Rooms

Guests unwind in high style in the suites and villas in Sanctuary Cap Cana by Alsol -All Inclusive. Some rooms take on contemporary style (think espresso wood platform beds and mod lamps), while others veer more tropical (intricate cutout arches, straw-based furniture and knotty wood walls). Upscale amenities raise the comfort, thanks to fine linens, silk bathrobes and marble floors. Soaring ceilings and expansive patios or balconies amplify the luxury. An extraordinary treat: Some rooms offer swim-out access to the saltwater pool.

Relaxing get away

Would recommend Mon, Oct 26, 2015
The hotel location is perfect. The staff and service is fantastic. The food is above average for an all inclusive but not a lot of restaurant options. Very little in nightly entertainment but if you want a relaxing vacation this is the place. Staff can't do enough for you.

Would recommend Mon, Oct 19, 2015
The property and staff were excellent. Great variety of food choices and a really fun atmosphere. The staff really made a great all inclusive one of the most memorable vacation spots we've ever been. Whole fried fish for lunch is not to be missed!

Overpriced

Would not recommend Mon, Oct 12, 2015
Fisrt off didnt have hot water for the first three days of our stay. Many of the atleast on or two per day restaurants were closed due to private parties. The entertainment staff is exceptional as well as maids grounds and servers front desk (castle) staff needs to be replaced. They are trying with the water/sea weed issue but, book a place close to Macau beach or in north bavaro.

Amazing Trip!

Would recommend Fri, Sep 18, 2015
We loved everything about this resort! The staff, the grounds, the food, the drinks, the fellow vacationers... Everything!! The staff worked so hard to make it perfect! We've read reviews where people complained about the seaweed but that is Mother Nature and nothing to do with this fabulous resort. They had staff working nonstop to keep to beach seaweed free! Love this place and will definitely be back!

Less then expected

Would not recommend Fri, Aug 28, 2015
Hotel didn't meet our expectations. Nice resort but there's lot of problems. I got food poison on first night there after dining in Italian restaurant. I think that some of the staff are very fresh in conversations, especially towards a women. I paid for Internet but didn't work most of the time and didn't get much help from hotel. They are playing same music at the pools every day (one cd from Luis Guerra). No food after 5pm (except room service, but u r not in the room). Only one bar served drinks between 5-7pm in entire resort and it is in castle, far end of the resort. As soon as you arrive they try to show you (room upgrade) suites which cost three times more than room you reserved and make you feel bad like your room is not good. In contrary our room was nice, big with separate living room and balcony facing the ocean. Breakfast and lunch buffet is very small with very limited choices and quality is of the food is bellow standard and what you pay. Beach is very bad because of seaweed and even through out resort you can smell it, so we have to stay at the pool area all the time. Pools are very nice and there's a lot of them. I'll not return to this resort and I don't recommend.

Punta Cana getaway 2015

Would recommend Thu, Aug 27, 2015
This way a well needed vacation for us, and as we arrived to the airport. Our experience was extremely pleasant. The hospitality on this island is off the charts. Everyone played a major role in giving us one of the best experiences you've ever had. From the resort staff, the beaches, and the excursions we experienced. Overall a TEN.

We LOVED Sanctuary Cap Cana!

Would recommend Wed, Aug 26, 2015
The grounds are lovely & well manicured. We enjoyed the all inclusive option and had no worries. Food was very good. I enjoyed many of the activities and shows very much! The Dominican Night (friday) was amazing with real traditional dishes that made my husband remember his grandma's cooking. The Dominican Dance show after was spectacular. the Wear White Party on the Beach Saturday night was a blast! The spa was so-so.The staff really put the icing on the cake - everyone was enthusiastic and friendly! From Dulce & Micaela at the Love Bar to Woody & Menor & Mr. Blue as activities directiors, to our favorite waiter extroardinaire, Eliot to our Taxi Driver Josue (ask Eliot) - we miss them all and enjoyed the week we spent with them. Cell service is spotty at best all across DR, so next time we will probably buy a pre-paid phone when arriving for better connectivity. We will be back.

Nice, but I wouldn't go back

Would recommend Mon, Aug 10, 2015
Hotel grounds are nice. They did upgrade room for free when we complained about the view of the parking lot. Beach is tiny, with seaweed and isn't blue. Dinner options tasted good but buffets were ehhhh. Staff was nice and helpful. Overall a nice place but not so great that I would return.
