Paradisus Punta Cana Resort - All Inclusive

Me, my wife and 10-year old son spent 13 days at the Paradisus in July. This was my second visit to Paradisus in the last 9 months and the first for my wife and son. A large ecological reserve is incorporated into the resort. Lots of vegatation compared to the developed portion of the resort. There are an impressive number of palapas around the pools and at the beach for a resort of this size. The buffet food was very good, fresh and with lots of variety. The restaurants were clean and the food was good too...although a little below the quality from 9 months ago. Paradisus staff are exceptional, personable and were very responsive to guest needs. The Kids Zone was excellent, and the staff were fun and energetic - much better than our expereinces at other 4 star resorts. My son had a great time - and is already asking to return next year. There is some construction going on at the resort - and the current prices have been lowered reflecting the inconvenience. You can't here the construction from the rooms, at the pools nor at the beach...so it is not noticeable. I would recommend this resort to anyone seeking a 4 star experience at a resort with motivated and friendly staff at a reasonable price.

This was my 5th time at the Paradisus. I keep comming back because I travel alone and the staff here make me feel at home and treat me like a gueen. I've experienced all areas of the resort from the least expensive rooms to the most expensive, there is very little differense in how you are treated by the amount you spend on your room.

We had a great time! The grouunds are beautiful and the beaches and pools are fantastic. The food could have been better - but other than that - a perfect trip!

This vacations was good. Hotel is good and the staff are very friendly. They always try to sell you a timeshare on the Hotel, that's the worse part. Food and beverages, good.

Awesome trip with the family. Resort is gorgeous and very luxurious. Kids and adults had a great time.

This was our 4th year at this resort and it just didn't quite seem the same. Pool was still great but a few of the restaurants made dining a nightmare. Check-in wasn't as pleasant. Bar service seems to have declined at The Reserve pool. The overall vibe just didn't seem there this year. We usually feel overly welcome. This year we didn't get that feeling.

We enjoyed this hotel with nice large rooms that overlooked the well landscaped property. We were able to try the many restaurants available to us and determined which was our favorite. Do not expect to have authentic Chinese cuisine at the Qi restaurant. Both Vita and Romantico were excellent. The buffet at Ciel is somewhat limited and served pretty much the same fare day to day. Language can be a problem at times. Upon our arrival, it took us over a half hour to check in with trying to understand and explain what we wanted. Be careful as they will try to sell you the upgraded rooms and that you will have to sit through a presentation to be part of Club Melia. The beach is gorgeous-white sand and warm waters. The vendors on the beach do not approach you unless you are interested. Overall a nice vacation.

Where should I start: PROS: - romantic rooms -right off the beach -enough Palapas & beach chairs -great staff -bar is open all day everyday!! -only good restaurants were the Brasilian themed restaurant in the hotel, Italian themed restaurant in the hotel -Breakfast was great, cooked to order -staff host different shows every night CONS: - food was mediocre, no flavor, not authentic -not much culture around the hotel -Concierge tells you they will have to pick you up to take you to breakfast. Tell them NO!!! they just want you to sit through a CLUB MEMBERSHIP offer. (in other words a timeshare presentation) -not much activities in the hotel -there is NO SERVICE TO CHECK IN EARLY!!! Overall we went for the 4th of July as a quick getaway and had a great time.

My husband and I have been going on a yearly trip to an all inclusive for a few years now. We have traveled to several different countries. This resort was absolutely the prettiest resort we have gone to. It is a larger resort but we do enjoying walking and the scenery was beautiful. They do have small trams(golf carts) that you can also ride. They ate very plentiful. The drinks were good. The staff was very friendly. The food was good and we are from new Orleans. Check-in went great our room was ready upon arrival. I will be honest, I was a little nervous about it as I read the resort reviews but it was better than I expected, we had a wonderful time. We just returned yesterday and I would go back tomorrow!!!!! We loved it!!!

The staff was very friendly. We really enjoyed the nightly shows. The food was average, a bit salty for my taste. The kids really enjoyed room service food. The rooms were nice and the beds were fairly comfortable. The resort was beautiful and well kept. The pool was clean and refreshing. There were plenty of cabanas on the beach. The food at the beach grill was really good. The white sand was absolutely amazing along with the water. Overall, we had a great time with minimal dislikes.
