amazing!
Loved my experience at ocean blue! The room was clean and very spacious, food was amazing, pool clean and not crowded at all, beach too much seaweed but, entertainment staff were beyond funny and great. drinks were awesome and buffet was really good. The night show is fun, karaoke and bachata dancing at night. No need to change dollars to pesos they take dollars everywhere. resort has a trolley but didnt really use it...its nice to walk and just enjoy the sun. The cab ride was 40$ and 38$ to go back to the airport for 3 people. The air port and hotel will provide you with transportation once you get there!, which I think is cheaper than booking online. & do not fall for the free breakfast an resort tour all they want is to try to sell you some travel hotel package. I was warned by others so I didnt waste my time with that. any questions, feel free to ask.

Lovely vacation experience
All in all the resort was lovely. [...] booked a memorable horsebackriding excursion to Carabeno Ranch. In most instances, staff and people were terrific. Beach and pool maintained beautifully. Food quality and choices were excellent.Our only complaint was the housekeeper who cleaned our room - we had to call at 5:00 2 days to get our room done and had to call for towels as well.

You get what you pay
Pool was fantastic, but the beach needs lots of help. Beach area is not well organized, so instead of a sunset you'll see a crapset... Staff are very friendly but very poor english. Hotel has potential but needs improvement.

Ocen Blue Golf & Beach Resort
Overall we had a wonderful time at the Ocean Blue. There were minor issues: but the great weather & resort made that all fade away. The rooms could use some better care: upkeep of furniture. Cleanliness of the public space was incredible! Nightly shows were just ok, hotel really needs a better sound system. A la Carte restaurants were great! Snack time near the beach could use some better attention & options. I don't eat meat & found very few options, this was disappointing. Buy your souveniers outside the hotel!

Definitely take the Punta Cana Mike's Adventure tour. Great cultural experience. Booked outside of the hotel prior to our arrival. Pack lots of sunscreen for your overall trip!

Very clean hotel with a wonderful beach. Nice place to go a relax. Took in one of the shows it was Ok. Did the zip line tour that was a lot of fun.

Punta Cana Vaca
Love this place, people are very nice, very clean, except for the room service and getting clean towels. We had to find someone and ask for towels. the room was made but we didn't get to clean towels everyday. The coffee shop was my favorite place it just like being at starbucks felt like home, open 10am to 12midnite. The open air lobby lounge with live music was a great place to hangout and relax every night the weather and breeze was heavenly. The sports bar open til 6am was the great place to end the night with very friendly service the only thing that the pool table needs to be replaced, but the bowling alley had better ones. Beautiful beach great frozen drinks and food. This is my second time here I almost went some where else but was afraid and just went with a sure thing.

The Ocean blue was great!!!!!
The Ocean blue resort was very beautiful. The staff was great and would do just about anything for you. My daughter and I had a great time and would recommend it. We did a snorkel trip, zip line, para sail, fishing trip and the banana boat off the beach. They were all great also. The suggestions were to go were given by the hotel. I have been to Belize, Costa Rica, Mexico, and Honduras and this was very comparable to all them. The beaches are great!!

OUR HONEYMOON....
We enjoyed ourselves..;-)No complaints except for at the airport and certain parts of the beach... it was overwhelming everyone that works there wants a piece of your money...

Beautiful resort, terrible room...
The grounds, pool and beach of Ocean Blue were beautiful and clean. The restaurants had decent food that let you sample food of the island. The room was horrible. We walked in and opened the shade to see a chain link fence just past a service road. The rooms on the other side of the building all looked on a courtyard. These rooms had drying racks attached to the walls of the terrace, we did not. In the bathroom, the ceiling over the shower was falling down, the shower head needed to be fixed so that someone over 5' tall could use it and there was a hole in the tile covered up with wood lattice. The glasses were never replaced and may have been rinsed with water that we were instructed not to drink. There was a broken lamp in the corner with burn marks in the lampshade and a wad of gum stuck to the daybed wicker. The room and bedding smelled. Sheets were not long enough to stay on the mattress. [...] I also do not know what any other rooms looked like. They refused to change our room, even with everything that was wrong with the one we were in. If this was our first impression, what would inspire me to go to the special breakfast the following morning to join the "privelege" club. The resort was beautiful, but I cannot, in good conscience, recommend it to anyone because of the state of the room.
