Food and beverage just horrible....and will make you sick. The rooms are really run down and hardly air conditioned. DO NOT go to this hotel if you are used to the American standard of living!!!

Make sure that you book your reservations for dining as soon as you check in, they get very packed. The Oriental Restaurant was NOT good, the rest were awesome, especially the Lobster House (which is NOT inclusive)

Disappointed Traveler Nov 21, 2009
I was so excited for this trip and was completely disappointed from day one. Our room was absolutely disgusting. Rust around ... the toilet, scum on all the fixtures in the bathroom, room had musty smell, moldy and dirty lamp shades, a fan that didn't work, patio door that didn't lock and only a few channels on the television. We asked several times to upgrade our room and was told that the hotel was completley booked. We were not happy with our room until the 3rd day of our trip after going to the front desk several times a day for a new room. The staff was not very friendly with an acception of a few staff members. The food was not that good all around. The hotel needed a major update. Overall we ended up not having a good vacation because the first few days of trying to get a new room really drained all of our excitment. Definitely not a place that I would return too!

We were very dissappointed in the food for an all inclusive resort and the availability of the restaurants. The restaurants ... were not full at all so I think they could accomidate more people. The beach & pools were absolutely beautiful. The snorkeling was not good at all. The rooms were fine and very spacious. All of the staff was very helpful.

Everything was good excepting the room, smell like humidity. The next day the shower roof was leaking (like a rain) we were so ... disgusting to take a shower (we did not know from where the water was it could be toilete's) as natural we complaint about it. We stayed for 7 days and the leak was not complete fix it (still one or two drops fall) so we were taking unconfortable showers (the manager did not have another room to move us.) We will never ever will return to that hotel.

We loved everything about the hotel and the way the staff treated us. Everyone was friendly. the only thing that was missing ... was dancing music for the older generation. We aren't into regeaton! More music from 60's, 70's, so we can enjoy our evenings more because we still like to dance! We plan on going back, if Jehovah permits, next year!

The hotel bathroom was a bit old. Also, I recall my reservation in cluding transportation to and from the hotel yet there ... were no documents provided to me and I was charged $70 for transportation. The hotel staff pestered you to attend a timeshare meeting which we were forced to attend in order to get reservations in their restaurants.

Lack of Customer Sv.
Milupe Aug 31, 2009
We relaxed by the beach & pool. We tried to book horse back riding the day after we arrived and they were booked. We asked ... for help to see if there was another way of arranging for us to ride the horses & the gentleman at the check-in desk sent us to a fellow who then send us to the rude receptionist who said: (God, give me patience with these people wanting to ride horses) in spanish. We walked away and went to the beach. Everytime we asked quesions, we were sent to 3-4 people before getting an answer. Once they answered our questions, they would walk away without asking if we had further questions. In addition, the hotel has people selling excursions at the lobby and each individual gave us different pricing. I found that very disorganized. Other resorts and cruises I've been on treat me with alot of courtesy, are attentive and the staff smiles. The coffee was great; my spouse enjoyed the food; I would've prefer my food hot, not warm. IF I ever go back to Dominican Republic, it WON'T be to that hotel.

Now, bring lots of mosquito repellent put it on before you leave your room.If you happen to go to the small stores in the hotel "VERY EXPENSIVE", try going outside the Hotel flea market, you can hustle the price down and they will give it to you. If in case your are bringing a bottle of Mamajuana make sure to fill it up with a cheap rum, otherwise it will be taken away from customs in Punta Cana.
