Majestic Elegance Punta Cana - All Inclusive

The Magestic Elegance Punta Cantafar exceeded our expectations. Our room was not ready, so we were upgraded to a one bedroom swim up suite. The room was beautiful, the bed was a dream, and the direct access to the pool was great. During our stay we ate at the Japanese resturant, the Steakhouse, and the Seafood resturant. Every meal was delious and memorable. The Japanese resturant had a very nice sushi bar, so we had sushi every night before choosing a resturant for dinner. The staff was very friendly and accomadating, especially Yan.We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be staying here again.

The Majestic Elegance Punta Cana - All Inclusive, Punta Cana, DO is the best all inclusive resort I have ever stayed in while visiting the Dominican Republic. The rooms were very clean and upscale. The beds were the best in the country. Very high quality beds--plush, high off the floor with lots of support. Also, the food is top of the line-great! I picked up a friend in Santo Domingo, therefore I drove to Punta Cana. The roads leading to the hotel are dark and horrible with tons of pot holes everywhere and really not enough adequate signs pointing toward the resort. Therefore if you are not from there you may want to catch a taxi or hire a tour guid. Other than that, when I go back on vacation to the DR...I will be staying in this resort again.

We read every available review of the resort good and bad and yes it is a new resort but they do everything right. The rooms are huge, The pool's are very nice but were cold, The beach and ocean are AWESOME but the ocean was a little cold also but warmer then the pool. The staff are great also and if you give them a few bucks they are even more attentive and very very friendly. All the restaurants were good but the Japanese was the best and most entertaining as well. Only problem we had was we booked a poolside room which cost a few hundred extra through Orbitz but we were told at the resort by our butler and the hotel manager that when you book there to call and make a request for poolside or ocean view and they will try to accommodate if available so call the resort direct and make that request rather then spending the extra money on here and taking your chances.We got a garden view room instead of the poolside when we checked in and after realizing that the room we had was more private then a poolside room we decided not to try to get them to change us into a different room. Bring bug spray and a citronella candle in case but we had maybe 3-5 mosquitoes in our room the whole week. Definitely go to this resort and even though it is an all inclusive bring some extra cash to tip the staff, they work crazy hours and schedules and make what amounts to about $100 a week. We are going back in 2 years and it can't come soon enough!!

Incredible from the second we checked in until the moment we departed. The white beach and inviting pool were phenomenal. The room was inviting, beautiful and very comfortable. The restaurant service was excellent, food in the places we did experience was good and plentiful. All of the employees throughout the resort were pleasant, they gave you the impression that they liked their job and were always smiling and helpful. The 11 bars were great. [...] and [...] were friendly, informative and made some great drinks. The music, especially the sax player was a great touch. There were no negatives, expect we did not stay long enough. Already thinking of going back soon.

Great service, staff was very friendly, beautiful beach!! The only thing we found missing was a hot tub. They had a Jacuzzi attached to the main pool but it was not heated, it only had jets.

This was one of the best trips since we have been traveling to the Carribean. The service was a 6 star service. The beach was beautiful. Our room and the view was spectacular. The upgrade to the Elegance Club was above all my expectations. My only complaint was that I came home 10# heavier than when I left. This was my first time booking through Cheap Tickets. I loved the idea that you could pick your own flights and the amount of time your stay was going to be. I would use Cheap Tickets for all my vacations.

Excellent Hotel. Great Value. Beautiful Pool. Great Beach. Beautiful restaurants, mediocre food but not bad for an all inclusive resort, plenty of variety. This is a new resort with new, comfortable pillow top beds. Maids did an excellent job of cleaning and maintaining room, towel art with fresh flower petals daily. Jacuzzi tub in every room. Private balcony. In room fridge filled daily with water, soft drinks, beer, chocolat bars. Welcome bottle of champagne in room. Shows nightly. They adverstised that they had windsurfing but they did not, they did have kayaks, boogie boards, and catamarans but no one to teach sailing so if you were not experienced this was not an option. Phenomenal gym with great exercise classes, [...], the instructor was the best! Spa at the Majestic Colonial (next door) was amazing, great environment and massage.Overall an outstanding, romantic trip. I will definately return.

The Majestic Elegance was my first all-inclusive and definitely a great first experience! The resort is gorgeous, the staff is wonderful, the food is fantastic, and none of our days were wasted. The resort has a variety of activities throughout the day. We went to the shows in the theatre every night; some were awesome and some were kind of cheesy, but entertaining nonetheless. I would definitely recommend this resort and will go back sometime in the future.

From the second you get there you are treated like royalty the staff was so friendly I loved everysecond of my trip. When they say all-inclusive they meant it, everything is top of the line fresh. I am already planning the next trip and I just left 3 days ago! It is the perfect atmosphere for couples, family, and friends. I stayed in the Elegance club where we had our private beach and private pools with Bali styled beds.
