Majestic Colonial Punta Cana - All Inclusive

I only disliked that certain people were topless at the beach and at the pool. I thought that was inappropriate in front of lots of kids. I also felt very uncomfortable. They need to be in places indicating for "topless only". The Majestic Colonial needs to address that. Other wise my trip was very nice.

We went to Majestic Colonial to celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary and we didn't expect to be in this super extraordinary place. The resort is 5+, the resort structure is magnificent, the pool is imprecise, the beach is crystal clear, the scenery in general is beautiful,the staff service always was very polite and caring, the shows were very professional, but most of all... the food was incredible delicious and variate. We think that this place is cheap for all the things, entertainment, quality of the rooms, building, scenery, food and more... We definitively had a time that we always will remember and we recommend 100% this hotel to families and specially to couples. You will have a dream vacation in paradise!!!

We love it!

First, we loved our rooom nothing out of the ordinary but spaciouse and clean. A large double shower, jacuzzi, and refreshmnt mini fridge(contents included in price and restocked daily. The pool is clean and huge, extending from the front of the property to the beach although we spent most of our time iat the beautiful beach. It was hot and very humid but the beach always had a nice breaze and there are many little cababanas if you want out of the heat altogether. The clear waters also allow for a soothing cool down. With many restaurants to choose from you won't go hungry. The food and drinks were great and we tried lots of new things. If you don't like one thing you can always get somethig else. Relax or join in tons of activities throughout the day. EXCELLENT energized staff!

We had a wonderful vacation. Beautiful resort, clean rooms, wonderful beach! It was awesome!

It was great we did zip lining, snorkling, RTV's, watch all the shows. The food was delicious and swimming with the sharks was an experience. The staff is real upbeat and adds a spark to the trip. We did not want to leave.

We had a great time at the Majestic. Upon arrival, we only had to wait about 20 min for our room. The bell hop walked us to our room and gave us a very informative tour of the grounds which was nice. Our room was gorgeous. We had the Colonial Jr suite with a private jacuzzi terrace. Bottle of rum and whiskey plus a stocked refrigerator with sodas, water and Presidente beer. Fresh towels and robes each day. Bathroom has frosted glass door that's open at top and bottom, so not much privacy if you know what I mean. Only problem was ants around the sink area and coffee area. I didn't mind, but my wife did. All I did was wipe them up and then they were gone. We tipped $5 per day for maid. Not sure if that made a difference or not. The pool is enormous. It runs the whole length of the resort and is nice and warm. Swim up bar with music and activities til 6pm. Plenty of lounge chairs, but go early if you want a palapa. Beautiful beach area with plenty of palapas and chairs. The water is a pretty turqoise blue, and the sand is soft and white. Lots of vendors selling parasailing, banana boat rides, cigars, etc... We did parasailing for 30 per person. Be prepared for some women being topless. Food was great depending on where you ate. The steak house by the beach was good. Buffet was good. Taino, which is Dominican and Mexican, was awful. Do the Japanese presentation at Matsuri. Le Gourmet was very good as well. Good hamburgers and hot dogs by the beach and in the buffet. Shows at 10pm were fun and entertaining. We actually got pulled up on stage for the Ideal Couple contest. Let's just say I ended up in my underwear, lol. Michael Jackson show was very well done. It was their first show after his death. They did a 60 second moment of silence. The whole area was quiet for the full minute, which was surprising considering the amount of alcohol everyone had all day. Casino is small and the disco is a sports bar. In conclusion, the Majestic is awesome, and we will definitely go back next year, hopefully.

It was a nice hotel and their customer service was superb. Everyone was eager to please and help!

My Husband and I stayed at the Majestic Colonial in Punta Cana to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary. It is a fantastic resort. The beach is amazing with the white sand and the warm, clear ocean. The massive pool is excellent with the swim-up bar. The Spa is definitely worth it as it was so relaxing! The staff was very friendly, the resort and rooms was clean and beautiful, and the shows and food were better than I ever expected! The restaurants are great and the bars are diverse - Jose at the beach bar was so nice!!! Great hotel and amazing place to lie in the sun, relax, swim, eat, and drink!
