Iberostar Grand Bavaro Adults Only All Inclusive

All Staff attitude was very good.

First experience with an all inclusive hotel. Service and staff could not have been nicer. Very accommodating. Facility is spotless. Food was first class.

My wife and I just arrived home last night. This was the best resort we've ever been to. The staff was friendly and the service was amazing. This is a beautiful resort on a beautiful stretch of beach. If you like pampered tranquility this IS the place to be. Great price too! We'll be back same week next year.

We went to chill out and get away from the cold. Food was very good and plentyful. I'm a beach lover and this one is the best. We've stayed at other resorts in Punta Cana and this one topped them all.

We never had more attentive, professional, friendly service. Every staff member went out of their way to do anything they could to fullfill our needs. The assigned butlers were awesome. Everyone had a smile and seemed to truly enjoy working at the hotel. The food was great, even the buffets. The four ala carte restaurants were top notch and as good as the better restaurants in most cities in the world. The adults-only aspect of the resort was perfect for us. The other guests were refined. If one is looking for a loud, wild partying atmosphere, the Grand Bavaro is not the place to go. The shows don't start until 10 PM, and the disco (in another Iberostar resort) starts at 11:30 PM, so we never went to either.

From the moment we checked in we were in awe of the beautiful hotel and grounds. The check in cocktail was wonderful too. The staff was very attentive and friendly.The food was delicious, and the chefs and staff seemed to take a lot of pride in what they served. The presentation, even at the buffet, was great. There was always a great selection of food at the buffet, and it was very fresh. We ate lobster every day! We especially loved the breakfast buffet and the Dominican night at the dinner buffet. We tried all four a la carte restaurants as well, and the gourmet French one was our favorite.The beach and the pool were both absolutely beautiful, with plenty of chairs and shade if you wanted it. The pool bartenders were really funny, and we loved the swim-up bar. We saw the beach areas for the neighboring Iberostar resorts, and our beach (the Grand Bavaro) was by far the best, with much more space between chairs.The evening shows were surprisingly good. The Dominican show and the circus shows were our favorites. The performers work very hard. The resort's "Star Friends" really are a lot of fun, and they offer a lot of different daytime activities. We enjoyed meeting and talking with all of them. [...]dancing class, and [...]water aerobics classes were great.We brought a lot of ones for tips. The staff doesn't seem to expect tips, but they are very appreciative of them.It was so hard to leave! We hope to go back again soon. It was a fantastic all-inclusive resort.

Great Hotel, staff, and location. Grounds were amazing. Food was okay. Drinks were call brands. Grand guest are allowed access to the other Iberostar resorts that was a plus as we could mingle with crowds when we wanted and then return the more low key atmosphere of the Grand.

The Iberostar Grand Hotel was the most beautiful hotel that we have ever experienced. We were on our honeymoon, and we have absolutely no complaints. The grand entrance when you arrive sets the stage for the rest of the hotel. It is the cleanest hotel that I have stayed at, along with 1st class service, and the furniture and decor make you feel like royalty. Our room exceeded our expectations - very clean and elegantly decorated with a nice-size bathroom with 2 sinks and with huge windows. The balcony was bigger than we had expected and we ate breakfast out there during our stay. Words can not describe the beautiful beaches and the row of huts that you can hang out under. In the late afternoon, we moved to the swim-up pool bar until dinner time! I looked forward to each meal as the dishes were to die for. The lunch buffet was overwhelming as there was something for everyone. We ate lobster, steak, hamburger, pizza, salad, fruit, roasted chicken... you name it. You have a choice of a dinner buffet or the a la carte restaurants. We liked the Gourmet Restaurant the best but the Japanese and Italian were fantastic as well. We did not make it to the Surf and Turf as it was booked. You won't believe the beauty of this place until you go and check it out for yourself!

We had a great time at our five day trip to Iberostar Grand Bavaro. It almost made up for the horrible airline situation that occurred from American Airlines being so late with our arriving and departing times that we lost luggage and connections. The hotel was nice, though a little bland. It is part of four Iberostar resorts located on Bavaro Beach, and caters to adults only. The staff was extraordinarily friendly and the bartenders were great. The pool is ok, a little quiet, but nice if you are looking for that type of environment. They do have activities such as air gun shooting, archery, and volleyball. The vast majority of people though tanned and drank at the swim up bar. It's easy to go back and forth between the other resorts via golf carts. The Dominican resort has the casino and disco. Tipping does happen, and it helps. The restaurants were open and you had to make reservations. Btw, it's casual attire, and men are expected to wear long pants. Food at the restaurants were pretty good, especially the Japanese hibachi. The buffet was also very good with pasta stations, grilling stations, and lots of seafood. All in all, we had a very good time and consider this probably the best resort in Punta Cana.

I loved every moment of my stay. No complaints at all. The service and awesome. The hotel is clean and quiet. We are going back.
