Grand Paradise Bavaro and The Club Beach Resort and Spa - All Inclusive

Place was great for the price stayed for 10 days and loved it nobody got sick food was great they staff was great and very friendly goin back in october..

This was our first time to DR. My check-in was fast i had no problem and was also given a extra key without asking. I heard they ony give one key to the room. The room was spacious and very clean. It was cleaned daily and stocked with bottle water and sodas. The staff was friendly especially the animation team. We had a great time with them they kept us entertained on the beach and by the poolside. The night shows were the best. Those shows were like broadway shows in NYC. They were some negatives like the pool near the beach needed some TLC. I feel they need to train all customer service a little better to accomdate english speaking people. Even though i personally didn't have any problems with customer service i heard other people had issues. The food was pretty good we didn't get sick. The la carte restaurants were pretty good also. You can got to two restaurants a week and getting reservations was very easy. There are tour guys that are very pushy to get you to sit in a seminar for a timeshare. They need new life vest for water sports because most of them were damaged or broken. Overall we had a good time. If you go with a postive attitude not not be rude and disrespectful they would go out there way to help you. If we had a problem we told them with a nice attitude and a smile. In return we got a smile and problem solved.

The service and activities were good. There were many organized game-activites and nightly shows of high quality. Most of the waiters and waitresses were superb. Attention to time for activities and pick up is impressive. Overall this is a good vacation site. The management should work harder on responding promptly to requests for fixing deficiencies in the rooms.

i just got back from 9 days at the grand paradise ,it's my second stay there and it was every bit as good as the last time ,for me it's the staff that make it great ,they're warm and friendly and very helpful ,the pool's are spotless and the beach was perfect,i'll be staying here again for certain

Was an overall good experience, good value for the money. Room was always clean,no bugs, hot water, plenty of bottled water and drinks in the room. Towels and toilet paper were well stocked, and the staff were very good even with the language barrier. Beach was great. Food was ok but was different than I am used to. Wife got very sick from sushi. Not much to do at night. Brought a lot of 1dollar bills, they went a long way.

For a family this is a wonderful resort, however the 2 prime weeks in March it is an ideal spot for college students to spend their spring break.

19 yr old son had enjoyable vacation with parents need I say more.

Room was comfortable but lacking in cleanliness, missing important things like a soap dish and another wastebasket. My best experience was at the reception desk upon arrival. When asking for items, i.e. towels, it took too long to get them, tv remote did not work, very difficult to get someone on the phone for assistance, lack of security (guests opened our room door in the middle of the night scaring us to death, apparently they were given the same room key that we had). One Buffet breakfast was horrible, the other one better. Nothing to do outside/around the hotel, our room being in a building far from the main building, we were on a trolley back and forth all day and evening, wasting vacation time.

Beautiful Resort if you don't speak andy spanish you will be lost here. 99.9% of the words spoken her eare in spanish. There is a lot you don't get told up front. All inclusive?? humm they don't tell you that its no name dominican liquor. 1 bar with normal drinks that you have to pay cash for and it is only open 7pm-2 5 days a week. Yes there are 6 nice restraunts here and what they don't tell you is that you can only EAT at 2 of them on your vacation, otherwise you have to eat at the Buffet all of your meals.....Make sure that you have american cash befor youget here because you cant get it here and they charge 16% sales tax if you want to use credit card and most won't even take that. Youcan get Pesos from the ATM but most places wont even take those.
